We love Dr Shepherd, Jane, Nicole and everyone working here. They have experience beyond just running tests and diagnosing. Dr Shepherd explains the pros and cons of different corrective steps, including what he has seen in his expansive career likely to be the best route of care, always considering costs so you and he can make the best decision for you and your pet. We now use them for all our boarding as well. We can't imagine going anywhere else. You will not go wrong with this team!!

Dr. Shepard has been attending our family's cats and dog's medical needs for 27 yrs. We appreciate the personalized care his practice provides. Dr. Shepard easily and thoroughly communicates procedures and choices, keeping an animal's welfare and quality of life first and foremost.

Dr. Shepard and everyone at NRVC are way more than 5 stars. We have been with them for over 30 years and they are not only our pet's doctors they are family.

The entire staff is so welcoming and makes you feel like family. We came to them after another local vet almost killed our dog and Dr. Shepard was so understanding and helpful and got our pups back to health! They always get us in quickly and are reasonably priced!

Great team! They volunteered their services to a shelter (Our Pals Place:) & saved the life of our dog (heartworms) before our family adopted her. For years, we've chosen to drive a little further from home to bring her here for her follow up & regular checkups. We're fans! *I'm updating this review 4 yrs later, and we're still bringing "Granny" here (our dog is VERY old now, she's been w/our family for over 11 yrs;) & we're still fans!!
