We are so incredibly thankful to everyone at the Animal Eye Doctor; specifically Dr. Boles, Karen, and Anthony. These employees went out of their way to coordinate care and promptly treat our cat, Archer’s serious eye injury. More impressively, they were able to completely treat/heal him without surgery, which is what we were anticipating based on a visit with a different specialist. The team was so responsive and thorough. We were so distraught when our cat hurt himself and almost resorted to tears when the Dr/team brought him back out looking perfectly healthy. I will forever be grateful and appreciative of this practice. Thank you!
I really cannot day enough to the wonderful experience my boy and I had at The Animal Eye Doctor. Dr Boles was exceptional. She was so so kind and took extra time to make me feel comfortable every step of the way. I was so impressed with her expertise and her kindness. Jess the vet tech was also absolutely wonderful and I feel like she also went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and informed. The front desk staff were also all so kind. I felt like my baby was in great hands and super well cared for. Would recommend to anyone.
This review is long overdue. My elderly cat (Tux) developed a very cloudy eye overnight. It came on so suddenly we were extremely concerned. I took him to a local emergency vet who called me right away and said that his eye was out of her league and referred me to this clinic. My cat was given an appointment right away which was very appreciated. Because this was at the height of the pandemic, Dr. Boles saw my cat then came out to my car to give me a very thorough explanation of what was going on with him. She was so kind and made sure I understood the situation. Tux improved greatly with the drops he was prescribed and Dr. Boles assured me he still had vision in his bad eye. The entire clinic staff was so kind and caring the several times we went. Sadly, my precious cat developed congestive heart failure and we had to let him go a few weeks ago. I just wanted to make sure I thanked Dr. Boles and her staff for all the great care they provided him.
This is a phenomenal eye specialist. Everyone I interacted with kind and so sweet to my pet. Dr. Boles laid out the different steps we could take in digestible manner and made me and my pet feel comfortable throughout the process. She also has a great ability to break down complex issues in an easily understandable way. I'm grateful for their care and expertise - without it, my pup probably would have lost her eye
It’s unfortunate they really do take advantage here that they are specialists. I’ve had a few visits here unfortunately due to my poor baby’s eye. So obviously one will do whatever it takes to make our furry babies better. But this doctor didn’t even know what she was saying or what to do, she couldn’t even explain things to me, no logical reason. I felt like they just wanted my money and me out for questioning them. Well yeah, if I’m paying over $100 for a 10 minute check up and your giving me no explanation on my baby’s eye problem then yeah I’m going to ask questions, I’m paying more then $100 so I’m going to squeeze all of the information my money is being demand of. Come on! I rather fly to a different state where I know my fur baby is actually being cared for and the staff care about the people too. I remember even the guy at the front desk desk felt bad & told me to take pictures and ask them later, validating me. Even him & he wasn’t even a tech or the doctor. I would love to recommend but I cannot, unless you want to be taken advantage of.
I took my cat to emergency walk in, they told me she had a melting ulcer and it would need to be removed.. I didn't want to accept that so scheduled here for a second opinion.. The doctor was confident and did a full eye exam and in fact found pupil responses and said she was pretty confident we could save the eye. She was so kind, listened and just so calm and when your pet is looking at such a serious diagnosis, that in itself brings a calm to us pet parents. I am hopeful we will save my girls eye but if we can't, I still the doctor is at a different level of practicing specialist.
