This rescue is run entirely by volunteers who have full time jobs and families. They completely vet cats before adopting out and cats are well assessed for behavior and any medical issues. We have three cats from Tigerlily, adopted 12 years ago, 5 years ago, and 3 years ago. They know what they’re doing and they do it well. They also spend many hours TNRing cats and finding semi feral cats barn homes. I cannot recommend Tigerlily enough.

This is one of the BEST rescue and adoption programs I’ve had the sincere pleasure and support from. They’ve helped us with all our TNR cats through out the years. They helped us with adoption of kittens that we just couldn’t keep as we have 5 babies of our own. The most caring and supportive staff. Truly wonderful people! 💕❤️

This is a wonderful Cat and Kitten Rescue. They help not only the healthy Kitties and Cats find homes but the very sick one's that need veterinarian care and they make sure that they get the care they need. Please donate even a dollar. Everything helps save a Life. Thank you for your support.

The experience was excellent. I submitted an application for the domestic long hair cotton and a week later I received a call from Gene where we set up a meet and greet the very next day at Pet Smart in Troy. The foster lady came and I was able to meet cotton and paid the adoption fee, filled paper work, and I was able to take the beautiful cotton home with me right there and then with my cat carrier. The whole experience was excellent and I highly recommend this place.

Don't pay attention to these bad reviews! They definitely seem to be personal issues more than anything else. My boyfriend and I recently adopted two kittens from Tigerlily Cat Rescue and we totally enjoyed our experience with both the foster family and rescue workers. This is a great organization and I would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a cat. As I said, we adopted kittens, but they have adult, elderly, and special needs cats too all looking for their forever homes. We are so happy Tigerlily Cat Rescue helped us to find our partners in crime!
