No dogs at the boarding kennel can be met without an appointment. To schedule an appointment please complete an application which can be found on the rescue's website. Once your application is processed and approved you will be contacted.

Multiple Breed Rescue introduced me to my best friend. Ruby has been beside me for three years now and it seems like just a moment ago that we brought her home... shaking and nervous, her fuzzy blanket and favorite toy. MBR was so supportive of my husband and I in fostering and then adopting Ruby as she'd had a few 'bumps' in her life. The people who had cared for Ruby were protective and remained involved until they were sure that she was well placed. I kept in touch for quite a while, then life did what it tends to do and I became seriously ill which brings me back to my sweetest friend; Ruby. I'm feeling better now.. but when I was feeling bad, when treatments were really harsh, when I felt like I couldn't stand it anymore.. in would trot Ruby... carrying around that bone she refuses to eat but insists on "having"... or dragging the rug from in front of the front door because she wants me to open the slider so she can go outside and play (no worries, it's fenced).... Sometimes I would wake up and she'd be sitting at the end of my bed... just looking out the window. Needless to say, Ruby is LOVED and just as important she is well cared for. I know that the amazing people at Multiple Breed Rescue who took her in, who sheltered and protected her are the reason that Ruby survived long enough to get HOME. How do you Thank MBR for that?

I found the love of my life through MBR, Remy! He started out as my foster and there was no way I was letting him go. They supported us every step of the way with excellent communication and resources. We also scheduled a training session with Amy post adoption to work on some puppy basics which helped a lot! They are a super fun, passionate group who really care about the dogs in their care.

During the COVID shutdown my husband and I decided that we were ready to welcome a 2nd dog into our family. We found MBR and they had a standard poodle who was rescued from an Amish puppy mill, adopted, then returned. My heart melted and we found ourselves putting in an application and then adopting our sweet Bella. It has been a long time working with her to become socialized and learn to be okay with humans. She is a happy, healthy dog who shows her personality as a goofy girl! We are so happy that MBR gave Bella the opportunity to have a better life!!! They were responsive and easy to work with. Thank you!

Multi breed rescue is a great organization. I've been following them on Facebook for about 2 years. A little over 6 months ago we adopted a great dog from MBR. Dash & I have become best friends! Everyone that I have met from Multi Breed rescue has been great. They all truly have a heart for animals and finding each and everyone of the the perfect forever home. If you're seriously looking to add to your family I recommend MBR There's no surprises. All of their animals are 100% vet checked. And what's great about getting a pet from a rescue is you get to find out their temperament first and see if they're fit for your home.

I have rescued two dogs thru MBR in 3 years, and use them for boarding when we go out of town. In both cases I have experienced nothing but excellent care of the dogs. They put so much time and money into rehabilitation of the dogs they pull from shelters and in screening potential fosters and adopters. They want to ensure the dogs are a good match to the family and will be in a safe and happy home. And that the people adopting will also be safe and happy. The boarding facilities are excellent and my dogs always are cared for as well as I could hope for. I highly recommend MBR.

We had the good fortune to come into contact with MBR during the pandemic. My husband transported some dogs for them and we subsequently applied to be adopters and were approved. The care that MBR takes when approving homes for their dogs is well above the standard. They care deeply for every dog in their care and strive to find the best homes for them. Their focus on what is best for the dog never wavers. We are so fortunate to have Sebastian (Sebby) and we owe his life to MBR. They pulled him and his siblings out of the shelter where they didn’t stand a chance and gave them all homes filled with love, treats and joy.
