Description Vacation care for your cats and birds while you are away. Cats stay in their own private cage free room and birds get to spend most of the day on their own stand to forage, play and vocally interact with the other birds. Cat owners can log on 24/7 to check on their kitties with night vision cams+ the birds. We also have organic cage seed mix, free of soy, salt, preservatives, additives and sugar, several varieties of birdie breads, cooked mixes and our own line of hand-made parrot and cat toys. Our emphasis on our products is to keep it simple and safe. We use human-grade natural products with most raw materials coming from local resources or the USA. We also cut and color our own wood for parrots toys and have a large toy making section.

I just moved to the area and needed a cat sitter while I travel. Purring Parrot was the first place I called due to the great reviews. When I called to see if they could watch my cat for a week, the lady that answered the phone was very professional, accommodating, and nice. I loved that they asked about what my cat likes so they could board her in a room specific to what would make her most comfortable during her stay. Drop off and pick up was very easy. I loved that I could see my cat whenever during her stay because they have room cameras. I also really liked the report card I got for each day of her stay. I also got emails every few days with check ins from my cat. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and how well they took care of my cat. I highly recommend them and will use Purring Parrot every time I need a cat sitter!

Purring Parrot has been so great. I feel so blessed to have found a caring cat boarding location that treats my cat as their own. The staff is just lovely. They even provide cute email updates throughout your pets stay. The kitties all get their own room with plenty of sensory toys, windows, perches, etc. Not sure what I would've done without them! Highly recommend!

My big boy Caspurr 18 pounds and 19 years old had a nice time. He had Blue Buffalo food, a clean mini suite with toys and a fresh litter box. He appreciated the attention. Such a convenient location and $43 daily rate. I felt very comfortable he can be taken to vet if needed. Much more comfortable than a key to my house given to a pet sitting service.

I cannot say enough good things about the purring parrot. They’ve taken such loving care of my two kitties time and again. And one of my kitties is definitely ….challenging to say the least! I was nervous about boarding my kitty but after meeting the employees and seeing the facility I was completely at ease. I feel very comfortable knowing that she is being taken care of by a staff that really cares. Things are kept clean and there are even webcams in the rooms so you can keep an eye on your pet! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to board their cat or bird stress free.
