Description Mohnacky Animal Hospitals has been serving clients in North San Diego County since 1981. Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Vista (purchased in May 2003) has a 12 member hospital team under the direction of Dr Yager. Our Vista location is a full service veterinary hospital providing extensive preventative medical care, a range of surgical services, and quality dental care. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer experiences with compassionate patient care for all your pets. Our other two locations are Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Carlsbad and Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Escondido serving the Tri-City area and North County Inland areas respectively.

This is McLuvin that got into his bottle of RIMADYL and ate too many where he needed to throw them all up. I got him to Mohnacky Hospital so fast and they took him in immediately. They worked on him so fast and thank you so much. My dog is my only Family Member I have left. Everyone is deceased, so I have to take care of my dog the best way I know how to.That includes Mohnacky Animal Hospital! 🥰

I made the switch to Mohnacky a few years back, and will never go back. The Dr.'s are always friendly, compassionate, and have never overlooked any concerns or symptoms. Their follow-ups are always consistent; they are speedy without compromising quality and hospitality. Thank you to the staff for treating my baby like one of yours. You guys make us feel safe! ♡

Nala had been going to Mohnancky since a pup and the love and compassion they gave her was amazing. Last month we had to say good bye to Nala and the respect for Nala and compassion they gave her was beautiful. I will never go any where else thank you so much for loving my girl just as much as I did. Thank you for also the love you give my corgi Stella.

My puppy got his dew claw caught in something in the yard and it was bent and bleeding. We called Mohnacky at 8:40am the next morning and they were able to squeeze us in at 9 am the same day! All of the staff was so friendly and treated Barry amazing. They called me two different times throughout the morning to give me updates and ask before they gave him more sedative. Would recommend them to any and every pet owner!

I recently had a fantastic experience at mohnacky and I can't recommend them enough! The staff was incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and attentive to both me and my furry friend. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The veterinarians were thorough in their examination and treatment plan, taking the time to explain everything in detail and answer all of my questions. The facility was clean and organized. I felt confident that my pet was in good hands. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of care and compassion provided by the team at mohnacky. I will definitely be returning for any future pet care needs.

Where is Dr Sacco? In the beginning I liked this place…but recently it doesn’t feel the same. I just walked out of my appointment after sitting for 40mins (350p-430p). My appointment was at 4p and not a single person said anything to me, but two of the girls were busy discussing their favorite breed of dog, how they liked “working dogs” When I asked to reschedule, I asked what a good time for THEM was so I wasn’t sitting all day. My dog literally was in an emergency visit on Monday for IVDD. If you don’t “care” or don’t have the TIME to see someone’s pet, don’t schedule them and leave them sitting in a waiting room…and not say anything while you social amongst each other. There was a small white dog named meatball in before me, a gold retriever left before meatball was taken back. And a man came in 10mins after me w his dog “Sammy” who was seen immediately and left…not a single other dog was in that office or came in; in those 40mins. I’ve rescheduled for the office in Carlsbad. Hopefully they have the time to see me dog and not just leave us sitting on a cold metal bench in the lobby while discussing they favorite breed of dog.
