We’ve been taking our babies to Ken Vet for the past twenty years and couldn’t be more satisfied with their continued professionalism and compassion. The staff and Drs are supportive and caring people and I have a hard time imagining taking our babies to any other vet. Anyone who complains about pricing should consider that you would be nard pressed to find competitive pricing that equals the kind of care you receive.

Exemplary care..concern...responsiveness.... Being new to the San Diego area I did not expect locating a reliable Veterinary clinic as difficult as it has been. Before finding Kensington, I had my dog to two other clinics for both routine and urgent care. Fees charged by both, for poor care and lack of concern for my pet, far exceeded Kensington's. In addition, I received calls from the Kensington Vet following visits, which were not routine, to check on my pet. I in turn made calls to the clinic which were answered in a timely manner, if not immediately.

I have to update my review because when things actually went rough with one of our pets, we were really unhappy with our experience. We had been bringing all our animals here for 2 years for routine checkups and were happy with it but that has changed. One of our cats got really sick and we were constantly gaslit by the vet that she seemed fine even though we kept telling them she's not, we spent so much money running random tests and being told it was definitely polyps when it actually turned out to be cancer confirmed by a different vet. We were really given the runaround. Multiple visits to Kensington vet for incorrect diagnoses and theories upon theories when we said we don't have unlimited finances for these tests. My last communication with them was when someone from their office sent me an email asking if my DOG was okay and when I responded asking if they meant the cat that's been sick for a month and they've seen 4 times, I got no response. They've lost my trust and I have taken my fur babies elsewhere.

Dr. Sise, Geena, Lynet and Paula and Destiny we're fantastic. Scooby couldn't have been in better hands. I was surprised that My Scooby cat responded so well to them and their caring attention. Very personable and informative pet care.

Our 4 pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) all go to Kensington Vet (bonus: they give a discount to families with 4 or more pets) and we love the care they receive. We’ve been going to KV for approximately 3 years and don’t plan on switching anytime soon! The vets we’ve received care from (Gossard, Mason, and Seitz) are wonderful. They all have an incredible general knowledge, each has a specialty that allows you to get the care you want (including acupuncture!), and they consult one another about the best care plans. The techs are all intelligent and incredibly caring about our pets. And the reception team deserves sainthood for how they handle everyone’s (including my own!) craziness, the volume of people they see, and how quickly they can get you in and out. What I especially like is that their care isn’t limited to the actual appointment itself. They do follow-up calls and emails to see how your pets are doing, they are responsive over emails to help understand when a visit is needed or if something can be done at-home, they’re very communicative about upcoming appointments or when your wellness visits are due, and they even proactively coordinate with other vets and clinics to ensure your pet receives the best care outside of their own care. While most of our visits to KV have been routine (thankfully), one of our cats was attacked by a dog recently, and we ended up making 26 visits to Kensington Vet between August and November (in addition to hospitalization at an emergency clinic). So to say that we know what the KV team is like is an understatement! And there honestly wasn’t a single time in all the 26 visits that we didn’t receive the same love and care that I’ve written about above. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. We’re forever grateful to them!
