Description "Welcome to Lifetime Animal Care Center. We are proud to offer services to a variety of pets including cats, dogs, exotic pets, small mammals and reptiles!"
I’m very sorry to say, but my experience with this establishment has been horrible. I have been a “member” for a couple years now. In the beginning they seem nice and seem to be knowledgeable. However, it became evident that if there’s an actual issue with your pet, there seems to be no actual understanding or ability to diagnose the problem and they will try to just get whatever money they can from you, having no compassion for your pets problem. Additionally I cannot begin to say how many times there’s been miscommunications internally, as well as incorrect information being sent to me. Each time they apologize and have an excuse like there’s a new manager, or they were not told by a coworker of some information. Also, once I canceled the “paw plan” (which is also a scam in and of itself), months later they kept saying that I owed a past due balance when I literally had proof of the cancellation notice, and different people in their office actually argued with me over the phone and threatened to send the balance to collections. Once I sent proof of the cancellation, they made more excuses. There is absolutely no professionalism, no knowledgeable staff, no common courtesy…. they are there to get your money and that is all. Unfortunately will need to find a new vet. Please find another competent veterinary office, who has you and your pets best interests in mind.
I trust Lifetime with all my pets. I’ve been taking my cats here for years and they’ve always managed to fit my babies in when I have a concern. I’m so grateful they’re around. Would definitely recommend them.
2 years back I decided to switch my vet to this one and they were great. Over the past year the care has completely fallen by the wayside. There's constant miscommunication, double billing, fearmongering to get services and vaccines done that I don't want to get done, and it seems as if no one is paying close attention to anything they're doing, I'm honestly afraid to bring my dog back for his teeth cleaning because I don't want something to go wrong, or get charged for a million things last minute when I'm on a budget to begin with. I've had mis-scheduled appointments causing my dog to go through unnecessary anxiety and discomfort. I'm completely and utterly disappointed. Not to mention they're raising care plan prices over $20 and not letting clients know. When my care plan is up I fully intend on switching vets and never coming back. I've not had one positive experience here for a year.
Vet barely acknowledged my dog. Was only interested in up selling me on tests, services. She did not even kneel down to touch my dog. Never said he looks in good health, or bad. Just said needs dental work and this test and that test. Here is information on insurance etc. Felt transactional vs care and concern for well being of my pet. Will not return. 2 stars bc the vet tech and front desk staff was very nice. Vet was awful.
The experience was absolutely horrible. No one there knows anything of what’s going on with their patients. It’s like the blind leading the blind in that facility. We had an app for both animals because we were told they both needed vaccines to only find out that one of our pets already had all the shots needed. Huge waste of our time. Not to mention we get there on time all the time and have to wait an extra 15-20 every time before we even get back to a room. Then to wait even longer for someone to see us. We will never recommend Life time Veterinarian to anyone and we are never going back.
My aunt is a senior citizen and unable to post, so she asked me to post the following on her behalf. My aunt’s dog of 17 years recently died within 2 days of having dental work performed by Dr. Koral Solorzano at the Lifetime Animal Care Center. Even at 17 years old, he was running around and chasing my aunt's daughter's dog just the day before the dental visit. It was not explained to my aunt that her dog would need to be put under anesthesia (and therefore, the risks associated for a 17 year old dog were also not explained). After my aunt left her dog in the care of the vet, the doctor called her to request permission for blood work. The doctor also mentioned that teeth might need to be extracted and that her dog might need to be given a prescription for special food because of blood observed in stool. My aunt gave her approval for blood work, but not tooth extraction. My aunt told the doctor to call her back if her dog indeed needed teeth extraction. The doctor said "okay" three times. The doctor also said she'd come out and speak with my aunt in person when she came to pick up her dog. My aunt went to pick up her dog and learned that his teeth were extracted without her consent. She waited 20-25 minutes for the doctor to come out, but she never did. My aunt told the staff that her dog didn’t look good. A staff member said her dog would be all right, but my aunt insisted that her dog didn't look good and asked if he could stay overnight to be monitored. The staff said no and that her dog would be good. The doctor never came out to speak with my aunt and never explained any home care instructions for her dog. Even though my aunt expressed her concern multiple times, no one called that evening to check in on her dog. The next day, my aunt's dog still hadn't improved or returned to his normal self. He was whining and crying and remained lying down. His mouth was still bleeding from the dental extraction and he didn’t want to drink or eat. My aunt called the vet and left a voicemail because she wanted to bring him in. They returned her call but said they would not fit him into their schedule, again ignoring her concerns. My aunt's dog died the next day. My aunt wishes she had been more assertive, but that can be difficult when "experts" tell you that your dog will be fine.
