They'll come out for a euthanasia fast, if you're established, but they treat you like the mafia. They aren't great at treating, they aren't holistic, they wouldn't even prescribe or give a broad spectrum antibiotic when my horse clearly had a fever and infection going, then prescribed something she said she KNEW wouldn't work a day LATER for $1500...a broad spectrum immediately, while my horse got more ill and died...broad spectrum standby would have been better than nothing for 24 hours, and a $1000 emergency call to only give him Banamine... disgusting , I will not use this office ever again ! I would encourage any horse person to call the large animal vets in Chilcoot. These vets really act like mafia, not professional, caring healers.

I hate to say my horse has better medical care than I do. They have an on call vet that showed up on the weekend before Christmas to help on an injury. The vet was super nice and professional. A separate instance. They had another vet come in the same day I called to help my senior horse through the first stages of colicing. They also were available on the phone to answer care questions. They also have notes on the vet bill that helps in recovery.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Came in for shots and a chiropractic adjustment. Horse is moving so much better after just one adjustment.

I’m very impressed with Comstock. We had an emergency with a horse we recently bought. They were so responsive and so professional. They did everything in their power to save our sweet girl. They kept us informed with everything going on each time we needed an update. We will use them in the future for emergencies. Thank you Comstock for trying to save our sweet winter. 🙏🏻
