Dr. Skelley and his team are fantastic. They saw my girl today and put my mind at ease. I left there feeling confident in her treatment plan and plan on using them from here on out. I scheduled my other two for an annual wellness visit and vaccines for next month. I know they're in good hands at Emory Animal Hospital.
I had called to sadly euthanize my ferret, out of 15 other clinics they were the only place that didn’t have countless hoops to jump through. They believed me when I said it was my babies time and treated so gently, when I arrived they were all so sweet and showed sympathy and even gave my ferret, salt, treats before her time.. absolutely amazing people and treated me with such care and kindness. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience with such a sad day, it made everything easier knowing they agreed with me on a quality of life decision and did not degrade me or try to deter me from my decision. I highly suggest bringing your pets here no matter what! Even a simple vet visit I could hear how kind and patient they were with every animal that came into their clinic and their owners. If I could do above five stars I definitely would!!!✅
Dr. Andrew Skelley is truly the best doctor dolittle for hamsters and exotic animals. Emory Animal Hospital is the only veterinary on this planet that offers exotic pet care with special care. My 13-year-old son Rain, was very happy to meet Dr. Andrew Skelley today at his office at Emory Animal Hospital. The entire staff was just full of joy and they all were looking forward to helping my son pet hamster get better. Our pet hamster, Sandy Honey Fields was in great hands with the entire staff at the Emory Animal Hospital. In loving memory of Sandy Honey Fields February 14, 2017 - June 5, 2020
I had our Amazon parrot's wings clipped, beak and toenails and. The doctor did a fantastic job with her. Sedating her made her visit much less stressful. We now have a very happy parrot thanks to Emory Animal Hospital. Thank everyone so much. We will see you next time.
I took my cat here in February and he was seen by a woman that was not Dr. Skelley (can't remember her name, just mentioning it because most reviews reference Skelley's care). I was not impressed with my experience, although the vet and front desk staff were nice. The vet suspected hyperthyroidism even though the symptoms did not align and bloodwork results had not been interpreted. He was ultimately diagnosed with kidney disease. When I took him to a new vet, she examined him and immediately felt that both kidneys were small/irregular, and was confused why kidney disease was never mentioned in my original appointment here. The physical examination alone indicated kidney issues. Given the prevalence of kidney disease, particularly in older cats like mine, I still wonder how the vet here was so off.
Came here cause our other vet was on vacation. We are probably going to switch vets cause this guy and his crew were awesome. Homeboy explained things so well to me with my buddy's ear infection and all the vet techs and secretaries were on it. Such a solid crew.
