Description Adoption Viewing Monday to Friday from 2pm - 4 pm or Saturday & Sunday from 12pm - 5pm. The Surrey Animal Resource Centre is the animal control facility for the City of Surrey, looking after the city's lost and stray animals. The shelter helps animals and humans in the community through licensing, reuniting animals with their owner, and adopting out those who do not have a home. "We are here to provide resources to the community to help pets in Surrey to have happy, healthy lives."

Great place for rescue animals. Kids and visitors are invited to play with the cats and dogs and bunnies. Animals are usually spayed or fixed prior to adoption, helpful and free. Fostering animals is also an option, we foster a bunny and they give you all sorts of supplies and support. Lots of options for adoptions if you are looking for a pet or pets.

Answered the phone very quickly on a Sunday when I found huskies on colebrook road. They seemed genuinely concerned and connected me to the right people to get help right away. The staff member who was on the phone I could tell loves animals!

They took very good care of my pug who's still somewhat of a pup & escaped under the gate to our driveway & when we finally tracked him down it was going to cost just over $400.00 to get him back otherwise he was past the wait period (5days) to be put up for adoption. I understand what they are trying to do but the cost of living is outrageous these days not to mention the cost of rent. A bill like this has resulted in putting our savings behind. It sucks.

The people here are so amazing…I can’t thank them enough for all they did for us. Right from the beginning…they are loving and caring..they want what’s best for their furry friends and the new adopters. They don’t push…they give you all the time in the world to think about what you’re doing, they are very knowledgeable…answer all your questions..doesn’t get any better. Sadly our adoption didn’t work out, but these people were 100% there to help us all ( cat and people) I have to admire these people, they make the world a better place, and stand behind what they do, they made a sad situation less painful. Thank you!

The fabulous team that took care of my lost and injured pet went above and beyond. It's been such a long time since I've been able to absolutely give a whole hearted five stars. The compassion given to my pet and my self was so appreciated. It was such a relief to know there was special individuals caring for my animal.
