We use to go to C.M.A.H. many years ago but we stopped going due to higher prices and people not really caring it's all about the money for them, maybe new management. We just got a new puppy and I was curious about their pricing. I called for a quick question as to a rough estimate of spaying a dog and teeth cleaning nothing accurate just a close estimate. I didn't want to waste their time or my own. In order to even get a price you must bring the dog in and get charged for an office visit even though my dog doesnt need an examination, just to find out a price, and so they can get another couple of visits in! What is there to see? Is a girl dog, and dirty teeth! Nothing changes with these people they just want your cash. All that b.s. on their website; "give us a call so we can discuss treatment options' is a total joke! I remember once asking why my dog was scratching her ear.? They took a quick 2 minute peek and charged $40. I would not recommend going to this place with your pets unless you want to get charged a lot of money for nothing. When something seriously goes wrong with your older pet they can't help you anyway. This is not like the TV vets, they're not even in the same league. They're the first to tell you put the dog down his old.

Dr Dave is the best ,he takes his time and explains everything clearly . He clearly demonstrates his dedication to your pets well being as his number one concern. I have complete confidence in his care. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented veterinary medicine practitioner in our area

I called first thing in the morning because my dog had what could have been a serious problem. Even though we were not regular patients here, they were kind enough to squeeze us in. The problem was addressed aggressively and she’s now on the mend. We will now be regular patients at Colonial Manner. Thank you for your kindness and expertise.

I've taken my guinea pigs here several times and the exotic vet was always amazing. I just went again to this vet for a bump on my guinea pigs lower back. David Ihrke was very rough with her and told me that my guinea pig had cancer and they quoted me $1,700 to get the cancer removed and biopsied. He stated that most of the time this kind of bump is cancerous and it never seems to be benign. Somehow, he got all of this information just by squeezing her bump and making her squeak in pain, he ran 0 tests. I took her to another exotic vet for a second opinion, and turns out it was just an abscess. All he had to of done was do a simple test and he would have figured it out, instead he installed fear into me and tried to get almost $2,000 out of my pocket. I will never be going back to that vet after David Ihrke came around.

You are better off googling your pets condition and providing care at home than bringing them here. We recently moved to the area and there are not a lot of options for rabbit vets around here. When I called in, I explained the situation with my rabbit and the receptionist said they would try their best. The vet David Ihrke completely lacked empathy and frankly was incompetent. He should not be practicing. His guess to what was wrong with my 11 year old bunny was worse than mine. "He is old and will be dead in 48 hours." He refused to do blood work, culture swabs, etc. His only suggestion was X-rays to see what was wrong with his legs. I suggest David read up on "floppy bunny syndrome," which is an acute, sudden neurological condition which impacts a rabbits ability to move-in case he sees another patient with such a condition rather than chalking it up to age. It is incredibly upsetting when you try to seek help for a family member who has been with you a third of your life and the person who you are paying to help does a 5 minute visual inspection, refuses to run any tests other than X-ray and coldly tells you your family member will die in the next 48 hours-it's actually beyond upsetting. I paid $168.50 for this practice to do nothing but tell me my pet is going to die and give me two unlabeled bottles of the smallest amount of medication I've ever received for him. I have been to many vets with this rabbit over his 11 years and never seen anything like this. I write this review in hopes no one else experiences this nightmare and please take your pets somewhere else.

If you love your pets, PLEASE DONT BRING THEM HERE!! Our family cat was brought in for an ear infection. She was given ear drops for DOGS which the veterinarian got into her eye! Now her eye that got the ear drops in is dying and sinking into her head. We have to get it amputated to save her life. When we brought up that she was having eye trouble hours after her appointment, we were told to bring her in to be seen. The vet said she must've poked her eye during transport into the carrier and that she didn't look like that when she left, not knowing I had the proof of that they used the wrong ear drops on her already from the invoice they handed me earlier. They then proceeded to tell my mother to put our cat of 14 years down because "there's nothing they could do". Throughout this horrible ordeal, they were extremely rude and patronizing and showed no compassion, empathy or respect. Please don't bring your pets here, our cat is suffering and we are paying exorbitant veterinarian costs for her surgery now.
