I can’t say enough how much I love Petroglyph and their team. I’ve been taking my dogs there for years and it is such an amazing thing to have a place that cares for your pets that you can trust and feel comfortable with. Today was one of the hardest days of my life, having to put my long time best soul pup to rest. That experience was so much more comforting, peaceful and beautiful with the love and care they showed me and my little guy. You are all amazing individuals and I look forward to continuing to take my pups there for their care-I appreciate you more than words can say. All of this obviously goes to say that I will always recommended Petroglyph as a great please for your pets needs <3
We loved our visit! We've found our new Vet! I called and explained my elderly dog (14yo) was in pain and they had me bring her in right away. The staff was great! Friendly and caring (even being short staffed and very busy) Very honest and not super expensive for urgent care, blood work and X-rays.
From 9am to 1:30am I tried to get into both Route 66 and roadrunner. They were so busy they couldn’t prioritize my dog who had an eye ulcer and was in pain. I frantically searched for another vet who was open on Sunday and found petroglyph. We called when they opened and they told us to bring her in. My baby was home with meds a couple hours later. Today the next day, she’s almost good as new. They were so so kind and they followed up today to check on her. They will be my go to urgent care from now on!
The vet here gave my elderly cat with kidney failure a full dose of gabapentin, a renally cleared drug, without my permission and for absolutely no reason. Anyone with any knowledge of gabapentin should know that cats with kidney failure are at a higher risk of toxicity if given this drug especially if they are already in a diminished state. My cat never fully recovered and passed away soon after. I regret ever going here. As a note to their response, I did initially ok the use of gabapentin because I am regular person without knowledge of how the drug works. I immediately relayed the info to my parter, a board certified clinical pharmacist, who was shocked by their use of the drug and called back right away to stop them from using it. It must have been less than 3 minutes later, but they said they already had administered it. I do not have proof, but I suspect they had already given it before they even called me. Based on previous visits they are not that fast to do anything as they are very busy all the time. Regardless, the vet/vet tech should have known not to give it to her. It was heartbreaking to see her stumbling around for days and days afterward since her kidneys couldn't process the drug effectively for it to wear off in the normal amount of time. I post this review only to let the public know my story with this place so they can make an informed decision when they have a pet in need.
Adopted my sweet Leo, and a few days later he had the worst hacking fits. Petroglyphs was able to get him in the same morning I called, which I was so thankful for. A lot of places won't get you in for a day or so at times but they had no hesitation. Staff were so friendly and compassionate. Dr. Randall was attentive, patient and gentle with my little guy. We couldn't be happier with our experience and will be going back as regular clients for Leo's ongoing check-ups.
I am forever greatful for the amazing people that work here . Me n my wife took in our dog today and turned out she had an infection in her uterus and needed emergency surgery and unfortunately we have little to nothing to our names after already borrowing money from family . And we still didn’t have nearly enough for it and me n my wife were about to break down because at that point we were defeated and did not know what to do we honestly thought we were gonna loose our baby. Loans denied us we literally had no other options . The doctor of the clinic let us know that they would be able to help us . And this was more help that I could have ever expected I am truly greatful . We are so appreciative you have no idea . Thank you so very much.
