This place is absolutely wonderful!!! I had a really really bad experience at a different vet here in Albuquerque, so I have been really reluctant to take my pets to any of them! Jillian (Vet Tech) is a close friend. So I decided to take one of the pets in. This entire staff is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend Juan Tabo Animal Clinic!!!

Good location, easy in, easy out. People friendly or should I say, animal friendly. We recently had one of our puppies worked on, surgery. For the best result and recovery they suggested overnight stay to make sure he was good. Pleased. Brought our dog out on leash and lifted, placed him in our car.

i recently moved to ABQ and brought my cat here for a general wellness check (i do once a year) and to get microchipped. their wellness exams cost double what my vet back home charges, but they're the only ones i could find who were taking new clients. the staff were really friendly and polite, but i was there for fifteen minutes and they didn't do much of anything. they asked if i wanted blood work too-- which was included in my last vet's wellness exams, and i was already paying double what i'm used to, so i said no, but i said that i did need her microchipped, which they ignored. they said since i didn't want labs, they'd just do a physical. the "physical" was weighing her and listening to her breathing. i told them i was concerned about her teeth, so they looked and told me it would cost $950-$1500 but i'm not even sure what needs to be done because they ushered me out so fast i didn't have time to actually ask about it. if i hadn't said anything, they wouldn't have looked at her mouth. they didn't look at her eyes or ears or paws. i was already aware something was wrong, but if i hadn't already known, they wouldn't have bothered to check. so i paid $100 to be told my cat's breathing is fine, she weighs 9lbs, and she needs some very expensive dental work-- which i was already aware of-- but i didn't even have time to process the fact that they weren't going to do anything else and i didn't even get a chance to ask any questions about anything. this feels like such a waste of time and money, and my cat STILL hasn't had an actual thorough wellness exam for anything else. very disappointing. definitely won't be getting her dental work done here.

Yes I do have the right animal clinic, you're right beside Turner school of driving. You guys are terrible. I'm not sure there's even real doctors there. I think you just pull people in off the street and put lab coats on them. My cat DID have breast cancer. My cat WAS TREATED BY YOU and you guys failed. Then you made her last few minutes of life terrible plus mine because I was watching. I hope karma comes around fast so you & your pets get treated EXACTLY like me & my cat. Good Riddance. 😡

We been going to another vet and my dog wasn’t getting better. They took her in the next morning gave her a thorough exam, took great care of both of us and she’s on the mend. Thank you

This place is amazing! During the start of pandemic 2020, my dog Major had started to lose his hair, developed sores all over his body, and quickly became very lethargic. He had trouble walking for long periods and developed a rat's tail. (ill post a pic under review) After calling over a dozen veterinarian's clinics, nobody would take on a new patient. So knowing that I had taken him to Juan Tabo Animal Clinic once, about 6 1/2 - 7 years prior. I decided to give them a shot, not expecting them to have kept any record of his one time there 7 years prior. Boy, was I wrong! They had everything still on file as if he were a weekly guest! They welcomed him back with open arms. Within a week we had a diagnosis and the right medication to treat him. The veterinarian would call to check up on him a few days out of the week. Just an awesome and friendly place! Would recommend it to any pet owners.
