Description The Brandywine Valley Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital for companion animals. We offer wellness, sick, dental and surgical appointments. It is our goal to create community while providing excellent veterinary care. We could not possibly be any happier with the care and kindness we receive at Brandywine Valley Vet! Dr. Mooney and all the staff have been so knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate every single time we visit. They have focused on making both of my dogs feel safe in a sometimes scary environment, through slowing down to go at my dog’s pace and offering a lot of rewards and praise during exams. This has made a world of difference to our vet visits. They take the extra time to answer all of my questions, explain their recommendations, always follow up after a sick visit, and support me in being the best pet parent I can be. I cannot more highly recommend this practice and only wish I found them sooner!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the extraordinary care and compassion shown by the entire team. Though our beloved dog was only with their practice for a short time, the nurses and doctors truly went above and beyond to make sure she received the best possible care. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that they genuinely cared about her well-being. When the heartbreaking time came to say goodbye to our precious girl, the staff made the experience as peaceful and special as possible. Their kindness and empathy during such a difficult moment meant the world to us. We were deeply touched when we received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt card at our doorstep, a testament to the love and dedication they have for their patients and their families. The flexibility and attentiveness shown in discussing treatment options ensured we always felt supported and informed. They treated our dog with the utmost respect and gentleness, making her feel comfortable and loved in her final days. Very compassionate, kind and understanding staff. They had a very nice and convenient “comfort room” for us to say good bye to our pet. Can’t say enough about how much they helped us in our sad and trying time. The whole staff understood and was welcoming and comforting. Best vet experience we’ve ever had.

Both of my dogs have been patients of Dr. Cafaro and Dr. Daniel. The entire veterinary staff is incredibly knowledgeable and kind from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The hospital recently introduced grooming to their list of services and as to be expected they did NOT disappoint. My golden retriever is 2 years old and had never been groomed before. The groomer was so gentle and sweet with my boy, I was running a little late picking him up and she even read to him! I cannot say enough nice things about this entire staff. Their genuine love and care for animals truly shines through.

Recently found a kitten and I was able to get an appointment here quick. Dr. Cafaro was great, he was thorough and you can tell that this is his job because of his love for the animals. They answered all my questions and was able to work within my budget for the unexpected new pet.

We are absolutely in love with this vet! As long term pet owners, we have been to many many vets. This is the first time I’ve ever found a vet that cares about their fur-clients so much and they explain everything. They helped us through our dogs heartworm treatments from diagnosis until he unfortunately passed away they would call to check on him and we’re always available for questions, appt, or anything we needed. We take our new dog there and they’ve always been wonderful. Highly recommend these lovely people!
