Dr. Taddeo and Dr. Eaton have seen my dogs and are both excellent at explaining any issues or concerns. My German Shepherd has been acting anxious after moving here from across the country and they have helped make sure she has the care she needs. They both love Charlotte and we also appreciate how she keeps them at ease. She definitely works well with both dogs who have very different personalities! We love the care and attention everyone gives us, including the front desk staff. Highly recommend and thank you to the Sully Animal Hospital team!

I took my healthy six-year-old dog there for an exam after her having a first time seizure. The vet tech was really sweet and very polite, and my dog loved her, however when Dr. Taddeo came into the room my dog immediately became tense. The doctor laughed and said it’s because of the white coat, however, my dog has been to other veterinarians and has never been afraid of them. She generally isn’t afraid of anybody, and in fact, has such an outgoing personality and such a sweet nature that she has been the pet of the month more than once at our apartment complex. The doctor immediately set about telling me how I was feeding my girl (a combination of very good organic non-GMO premium food and raw diet) was making her sick and basically treating me like I was an idiot who had no understanding of dog biology or the dietary needs of my pet. She was very rude and condescending and at one point even asked me if I would take my dog out and let her “catch and eat pray in the wild.” I have been working professionally with dogs for over 30 YEARS showing, breeding, handling, and training and I have had dogs my entire life from the time I was a toddler. Her nasty attitude and rude condescending tone were very off-putting. I spent the entire day today with every break that I had at work calling to try to get my results for my dogs tests and even though the report stated that they were ready a couple of hours ago, they just released them to me finally, and thankfully, my dog is 100% healthy. I should mention that I’m also a nurse, and I have quite a bit of medical knowledge of my own under my belt so to have a doctor behave that way is not something that is new to me. It is common to see that sort of attitude on display with certain doctors, but I digress. They were sure to include a message when they sent the results to let me know that they didn’t think I am a good fit for their practice and that I should seek out veterinary care somewhere else in the future. As if I would take my girl back to that place! Horribly unprofessional, rude, and I ALWAYS trust my dog when she has a bad feeling about somebody.

Dr Taddeo and team are kind and courteous. She is the only one I trust with my cat who has bladder issues and another who’s red blood cell count kept dropping. She hasn’t steered me wrong in the 10 years I’ve been going there.

We switched to Sully Animal Hospital when we moved to Centreville from Alexandria and we couldn’t be happier. They have helped us navigate some medical issues with our aging yellow lab, making sure to give us all of the options and not try and push a choice on us; which we really appreciate and hasn’t been our experience at previous vets. The staff is so welcoming every time we come in and I love how they follow up after a visit to see how Maizey is doing. Thanks to all the doctors and technicians and staff for helping Maizey.

I find the care, here, compassionate, loving, and the way every veterinarian office should be run. I have an elderly disabled , Shih Tzu with mobility problems, skin problems, and blindness. He is the sweetest animal ever and his conditions especially his skin has Improved 100% since seeing Dr. Taddeo And her team :-)

I just moved here from Florida and my cat became ill today. I called many vets this morning and none could fit me in. Sully Animal Hospital figured out how to fit my Kitty in and diagnosed her and she is on her way to getting better. I can't thank Sully Animal Hospital enough for their creative thinking, compassion, medical knowledge and kindness. I will ONLY use this animal hospital from now on. I am so happy I found a new partner to help me with Kitty.
