The Dog Stop is a great company. I use their services for boarding and one reason I chose them is because my dog doesn't get along with other dogs but they have a VIP option where my dog can feel safe and comfortable and still get extra play time with the handlers. The owners and staff are very friendly, receptive to feedback, and willing to help out where they can. You can tell they really love and care for dogs, and have photos of their own dogs displayed. When I get updates on my dog for longer stays, he always looks very happy. Highly recommend this location and will continue using them.

The Dog Stop is by far the best doggy day care center I have ever been fortunate enough to take my pup, Beckham! We have been going to The Dog Stop for about 7 months now and we have consistently loved everything about it. The staff act like a family and treat my dog as a part of my family. The Dog Stop is NOT your typical "commercialized" center who doesn't know your dog. They know your dog, your dog's name the moment you walk in, the pup's likes and dislikes and always notice changes or good wins to report back to the owner at pick up. Pick up and drop off is always a breeze and on days where Beckham doesn't want to eat breakfast before daycare I will drop off lunch for him to eat mid day. This has been really helpful for consistency purposes. Mr. Beckham comes home happy and healthy 3 days a week with daycare and I'm grateful that he can burn some of that energy. They have killer deals on daycare packages, fun games for owners to play to win free services, a variety of services to choose from, and consistency with all of it. The Dog Stop also goes above and beyond with helping my pup try store samples (because he is such a picky eater) and helped take care of him in "VIP" while he was recovering from surgery so I (owner) could still go to work. I love the Dog Stop and am very grateful for their existence and consistent upholding of amazing customer service and sincere love for the dogs they take in. Mr. Beckham (@beckhamthebrave) loves his down time from service dog duty while playing at The Dog Stop. We will see you in a few days, thanks again for everything!

This is an account of my dog's grooming experience here on 6/23/24. Tl;dr: My dog came back with an eye injury that the facility could not explain. It was a frustrating process for them to take responsibility. I also have doubts if the full services were performed. See below for full review. I brought my dog here for grooming for the first time on 6/23. During her pick up, I noticed that she couldn't open her right eye. The receptionist told me that likely some hair went in and to just flush it with eye rinse. I did so but two hours later, the eye was still swollen. I decided to take her to the vet, who performed a stain test, revealing a major ulcer from trauma. She was put on several medications to try and heal the eye, with a follow up scheduled for 6/25. The visit costed ~$400. The next day, I went back to the Dog Stop to ask again what could have happened. The manager could not explain and then said she would have to think for a couple days on what to do about the vet bills because they "couldn't just hand money out". I was frustrated with this and left, stating that I would come back after her follow up. A couple hours later, I received a call from the manager again, who said she could write a check for the first visit only if I do not pursue any further visit charges. At this point, I did not know if my dog's eye would worsen or not so I refused and again said I would come back after the follow up. Following the 6/25 visit, I emailed TDS that night with updates, and reiterated that I intend to pursue all related charges, and would escalate to whoever I needed to make that happen. They replied that the owner would meet with me on Wednesday. During this meeting, the owner tried to offer me vouchers instead. They also continued to say that it is not certain that the injury happened at their facility, that they would not pay for any further visits, and that they are only paying for this first one "out of the kindness of their heart." After many back and forths, they agreed to write a check for the first visit and that we would discuss further if any other charges came. Thankfully, my dog made a full recovery by her second follow up on 6/28. At this point, I am over this whole ordeal and am just glad my dog is fine and that I got most of the fees reimbursed. What prompted me to write this review however, is my vet visit today. Before the grooming appointment, my dog had been licking her butt quite often. I specifically requested to have her glands expressed at grooming. I noticed in the last couple weeks (after her cone was off) that my dog was still licking her butt excessively, and decided to take her to the vet. The vet told me her glands were completely full, and that typically it takes 2-3 months for them to fill up, making me doubt if this was even performed during her grooming. I know this is a long review, but I wanted to share my personal experience especially since I brought my dog here due to all the great reviews. Most of the staff seem sweet but I would advise pet parents to just be vigilant if you do plan on bringing your dog here. Thank you for reading.

I was very nervous to drop my dog off due to him not having much interaction with other dogs. When I picked up my dog he was super happy and very tired from playing all day which gave me so much comfort. The workers also remembered his name when we came back the 2nd time which made it very special and comforting to drop my puppy off!!! Thank you 😊

A wonderful experience- our new favorite groomers!!! 💜💜 This was mine and my dog Molly’s first time at the dog stop, and as a very hyperactive and anxious/easily excite-able pup she can be a handful for some groomers, but (forgive me, im awful with remembering names) our groomer was absolutely wonderful! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about styling for Molly’s breed and fur type, and very understanding with her anxiety and hyperactivity. The pricing was also affordable for a job very well done. She looks beautiful, is super super soft, smells great, and clearly was handled with care as the cut is clean all around and nice and short in all the sensitive areas it needs to be such as around her eyes and lady bits- which truly takes real skill and patience to achieve with her (i have groomed her myself before so im well aware🤣). she also got very calm the second we got in the car which almost never happens (shes usually very reactive and anxious for a few hours after grooming) which tells me she was just excited/anxious from all the stimuli as is expected, but was obviously well taken care of and felt comfortable in their care which is really important to me. We will 100% be returning (with our poodle too when he’s ready for his next cut!) and i think after years of searching we’ve finally found our go-to groomer! Thank you so much!! 😍🐶
