I switched to Animal Hospital of Towne Lake after learning from a daycare that my pets were past due for their shots and my previous vet hadn't even tried to send a reminder! This helpful notification was something that previous vets had gotten me accustomed to, so I believed it was standard. Having two dogs on different schedules, I was certain everyone was covered. Anyway, I decided to switch and saved 20 minutes in commute when there’s an appointment. Well, I'm so happy I did. First visit was to get their shots - Dr. Kym and the team were so patient with us, because my pups had found a way to evade the needle! We had to come back twice more to get them all done. But by the third attempt, they just lied down and let her get through it. My most recent visit earned them a lifetime customer. My oldest, Quince, had been going through several things that we thought were due to old age and because of misinformation from the old vet, I was left to believe we were restricted with options to treat or test, because they said he couldn't be put under anesthesia. Turns out, he was allergic to the med they gave him and we found this out because, Dr. McBride stayed on the phone with them until she got the information she needed. Learning what had happened in 2022, she tried something else, and Quince was able to receive proper testing so we could decide on a treatment plan to move forward, and he's no longer limping from the tumor she found on his toe! So far, my pups have been treated with care and priority by the team at Animal Hospital of Towne Lake, and that's everything a mum going through an emotional time wants sometimes. Their empathy and passion is evident and I am grateful for their patience with their patients (including us humans). 🙂

We had to make an unexpected visit to Animal Hospital of Towne Lake over the weekend. It’s never a fun place to go right? I first called ahead and spoke with someone who was very helpful over the phone. We came in and we were brought back immediately. Not that it was such a severe emergency but we were not made to wait. I don’t think they were too busy at the time. The tech came in the triage room and was very patient and listened to my drawn out story of what was going on. Then the vet came in just a few minutes later. He gave my sweet GSD puppy a good looking over and determined her issues were stress related from a surgery earlier in the week. We were in and out of there with everything we needed within an hour. We will only go here for emergencies from now on and will make our permanent vet’s office for other needs.

Thank you so much to Dr. Julie McBride! Fiji already seems to be feeling better and seems to have less of an upset tummy, her poop is starting to firm up just a tiny tiny bit and it's only been 24 hours since shes started taking the medication she prescribed. They got us in fairly quickly for an emergency visit since our normal vet closed early and didn't call me back before they closed and I was too worried to wait after shes been sick for a week! They were extremely sweet at this vet and made sure my baby was taken care of quickly and on the road to feeling better.

They took care of my baby all the way up to his passing two weeks ago. Idk what went wrong he went in for a eye and ear infection was doing so well. Was told to go home after weeks of med said everything look good. He was healthy and his eye will start looking better in a few more weeks. I didn't change anything, he just stop eating and drinking two days later. I couldnt get him back to vet since other life thing happen as we lost 6 family member all In that week and had one fighting for his life but God save him ty lord. I felt like a bad mother for not being there for him. the day he passed was Sat not 5 days later after his vet visit. he was found stiff as a bored cold to the touch. I did have him out the night before bc he was a little wobbly so I wanted him to kind walk off some. But that what I do every night let him out to run a few. All my pets love him. He would follow them around. he sure is miss rip Willy Nelson you were a good piggie.😞

They are very caring and good practice. We ended up loosing our Apollo but they really tried to save him. We appreciate the care, compassion and kindness shown.

2 weeks ago I went back to this office because I had loved them when living in Woodstock. My baby had hurt her back and my other vet didn't seem to have any answers. This location is staffed with many wonderful doctors and were so caring. Not only did they look after my baby, they had every doctor that look at her as they came available and updated me along the way. Once they all had a chance to examine her, they called to report the final opinion. Although it was not what I wanted, I was aware this was a possibility when she became paralyzed. They really did everything they could and made us all feel like we were in the best hands. Thank you all for doing everything you could for my baby Georgia, it really does mean so much to have good, caring people in this world
