A blessing in disguise... I stayed here several years ago, it was pretty new, the best food I've had and the most assistance I earned at any rescue mission, thank you

I appreciate this service and the resources they gave us to help me and my family in a tough situation. There are good people working here, and it is a nice place. They keep it clean and as safe as possible. It's a blessing to have a place like this when you need it most.

I have never been to this place been down in st George but I have never heard nothing but good to excellent things about here I am kinda shocked with some of the reviews so I am giving them a 5 for word of mouth one other thing is go get a job or go check the shelter in Vegas or salt lake

I've stayed at the shelter. It had its ups and downs. During covid, they didn't throw us out daily like they normally would have. However, after a couple of months, we did get thrown out because we were homeless on the day we were meeting with someone about a rental. We were also going to get some assistance from the shelter for the move in costs. Both of which didn't happen because we had been thrown out of the shelter for being homeless, which caused us to miss the appt we had. Fast forward to more recently, we are still teetering on homelessness-living in a camper trailer and trying to get things back on track. We came to the care and share for assistance with our rent, but the day of our appt, the 1 and only person who does the rest assistance was out sick, so the woman who was there helped us reschedule. We came back that Friday and she was gone again, left early because she was sick. I called back Monday and left her a msg. I didn't receive a call back. So I called again on Tuesday and talked to her and she told me that there was no more funding for rent assistance and that they have to wait until they get another grant from the government. My family is on the verge of being without a roof over our heads. Where did the funding go if no one was there to approve the help for anyone? Who is stealing that money? I may be practically homeless, but I'm still a tax payer and those grants are for ppl in my situation, not ppl in your situation who take multiple sick days with extra cash on the side. I believe that's a crime if I'm not mistaken. I took a half day off of work both of those days just to come in to have an appt with someone who wasn't there to get help from funds that mysteriously vanished when no one was there to dole it out. How does that happen? One time is a mistake, but 3 times...somebody is dipping their hand into the cookie jar and isn't supposed to be.

Extremely helpful, professional & supportive. You have access to everything you need to get back on your feet and healthy. It's extremely safe, clean & comfortable. Staff are amazing and treat you as a human being with compassion and sincerity.

Norman will exit you even if your covid positive and really sick. And no where to stay. Even if you have children that are also covid positive.
