Description Established in 1988. Pet Supplies Plus was started in 1988 in Redford, Michigan. There are over 400 stores in more than 30 states, with more than half of them being individually owned and operated. The chain's founders, Harry Shallop and Jack Berry had a terrific idea. They wanted to bring supermarket-style convenience and value to the pet food and supply industry. By building stores in local neighborhoods with smaller footprints, Jack and Harry made it easier for our neighbors to shop. Over the years, their ideals have served us well. Which is why, as we look to grow in the future, we will continue to provide our neighbors with the easiest shopping experience to help them better care for their pets.

This was my first time going to the store and I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the aisles, and the selection of items. I used the self bathing for my new Australian shepherd we just adopted. The set up is great with a step up to the tub and noose collars at each end plus several different shampoos to pick from. My only complaint was the spray nozzle for the hose. It's a push up and down to use and so stiff I could barely get it to move, especially with wet hands. If you have arthritis or problems with your hands, you won't be able to use it without help.

BEWARE. Their toys and collars are very cheap and not worth the money. I bought 2 cat collars $9 a piece. I didn't try them within in 30 days. They both were broken. I've been a good long-term customer. They wouldn't even give me store credit. This is not the first time I bought some that broke right away. BEWARE.

Fantastic alternative to other big box pet stores. Offers a variety of regular and premium food brands for cats. A small, but solid collection of treats. Toys are okay, as is towers and other accessories. Litter has a wide selection, as well. A very generous rewards program, definitely helps save money on a multi cat household. Frequent sales on various wet and dry foods, too. The staff have always been helpful and keen to help customers save some money.

My first time was great! This pet supply store smells so much better than others! The staff was very friendly, the store was clean and I got signed up for rewards and my first discount! Closer to me than the others too! Found my new pet supply home!

I took my dog in for a 9 am haircut at this establishment. It was her 2nd visit. I had $25 coupon. I was offered the Senior package. I inquired about the price and was told it would be $70 the same as a full grooming. I was not told that the $70 was after the coupon. I was also told she would be ready around 11. It was 1:30 before she was ready. I will not be returning.

That Red hair girl today was so rude to that old woman who was trying to help her do simple math. The manager seemed helpful but that employee was RUDE. Even called the customer names. I'll use Petco
