Our babies have been visiting SW Veterinarian for almost 8 years and have had nothing but the very best of care under all of the doctors AND staff, THE BEST care ever received over our 50 years of having MANY animals. SVMC was the first vet I ever used for my first kitten, Tilly. When we rescued her, she was sick and malnourished. The care and guidance of Dr. Romero and her team was extremely helpful. Not only are they supportive and proactive, but they ensure that your animal has a great experience at the vet, leading to a positive perspective for the pet. They gave our little one so much love! Tilly is now at her proper weight and has been properly vaccinated after getting mis-aged and boosted too quickly from the shelter she was in. We are so grateful that we found this clinic!

This office has been outstanding every experience I have had with them. I personally have had experiences with a lot of the vets here in Albuquerque due to my career in working with animals over the years and no one else compares. I am impressed with their team every single time. My 3 dogs and cat have seen all of the different doctors here over the years and are so well taken care of each time. The front office team and techs have been so wonderful with my babies. (Especially Raquel who handled my Belgian Malinois like a pro when restraining her, it hasn’t always been the easiest in the past). I searched for a good vet to take my animals to when I moved here over 6 years ago and this place has not disappointed. The prices are so fair especially considering I know pricing has to go up to keep up the economy. My cat also got really sick a couple years back and his bladder was blocked when I was out of town. They took him in as an emergency since he was already one of their patients and kept him for a few days until we got back into town. (Not to mention for a very small fraction of the price that a different vets office was wanting for all of his care). I could go on and on, but I am so grateful for everything y’all have done. Thank you Southwest Vet from the bottom of my heart. My animals are my babies and there’s no where else I would take them.

Dr. Levinson diagnosed and performed a cancer surgery wherein the cancer was wrapped around a nerve. He performed the surgery so meticulously, that my Ali, suffered no ill effects. Most Recently, I brought in my boxer girl that “just wasn’t feeling well” within 20 minutes, testing was done and she was correctly diagnosed with a blood auto immune disease. We didn’t have one more day to wait, she was critical. Dr Levinson and Dr. Abbott stuck by me, testing my girl every few days, watching her blood cells and platelets and organs, adjusting medications until she was stable. And they did this efficiently, so that there were no unnecessary costs. I was frazzled and worried, and when I couldn’t find my words, my wallet or the phone that was in my hand, the front desk was calm, and polite. A big shout out to Suzanna and the girls at the front desk that knew the answers and treated me with enormous respect. Part of an excellent Veterinarian’s office is treating the patient, and also dealing with the client (which may be more difficult). SouthwestVeterinaryMedicalCenter is excellent

Our 6 month old corgi loved her first visit here (as much as any puppy can love going to the vet's office!) 😁 Great, friendly staff, and all the Dr's we've had the pleasure of caring for our pups have been fantastic. Shout out to Dr. Abbott & Dr. Levenson, we love them both. ❤️ There are several vet's offices closer to us, but it's worth the drive taking our fur kids here. 😀

Great customer service. Staff was very nice. 🐺We had our first puppy appointment with our Silver Sable GSD. Clean with a area for kids to play. Mask need to be worn if you come in to office. Price was great. Even got a cute puppy bag of goodies 🎀 Thank you!!
