The veterinarian staff was so kind and compassionate. My senior dog was suffering from a back injury and very bad arthritis. They gave me many options including non invasive laser therapy which gave us a little more life and time with our Sophie. They made her relaxed and comfortable. When the time finally came that her quality of life had gone, they gave her dignity and respect in her final moments - she was calm and went peacefully in their expert care. When I am able to open my heart again to another dog, I will continue to utilize the Foothills Animal Clinic. Highly recommend that you put your trust in their hands.
Dr. Kelly is the best! She is kind and compassionate, and her whole life surrounds her devotion to animals! You will be blessed to bring your pets here! She supports a nonprofit animal rescue and helped get my dad's dogs rescued after his passing! We are forever grateful for her!
Foothills takes care of all 5 of my animals (4 dogs and a cat) my Husky had torn her CCL and we were told by another vet it was just arthritis, but Dr. Booth knew what it was as soon as looking at her! They are always willing to work with me as far as appts go and their pricing isn't bad!
This is the most caring, friendly, helpful group of people I know. I have been taking my babies here for a long time and they are loved on and treated so well! Love this place and all the ones working here ❤️
Very friendly. Great with my cat. Very Knowledgeable.
Took my guinea pig Dexter here to get neutered. They informed me that there was a risk with anesthesia but they said he was healthy so he should be ok. That was the only consult I got. They had good reviews so I was confident in them. When I went to pick him up they said that one of his testicles had went up in his stomach so they had to cut him all the way open instead of the small incision they would normally make for this procedure.. No one called me or anything about this. They just did it. I asked them before I left if there was anything I needed to know or look out for and they said not, that he would be fine. 24 hours later I had him at the emergency vet because he refused to eat or drink and hadn't used the bathroom. The emergency vet said he had not been given enough pain meds for the extent of his surgery and because he was in so much pain this had caused him to become depressed and go into gut stasis and that this condition is a high risk for guinea pigs after a surgery like that. They gave him IV fluids, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medication and more pain meds and a bag of critical care so I could syringe feed and treat him at home(All the things I should have been given after the surgery) They informed me that he could pass away from the gut stasis. I took him home and fed him with the syringe and gave him meds but he just wasn't responding and 4 hours later he died . I was and am still devastated I told foothills what happened and that my baby had died and I didn't get a response from them until over a month later when the sent me a card for Christmas saying "sorry for your loss, he was sweet". I am furious and am still grieving. If they had called me about about the extent of cutting it would take to get his testicle out of his stomach I would have told them to stop then and there. And if I had been warned of the risk of gut stasis I would not have let them do any surgery on him at all. I feel it was careless and irresponsible not to inform me of ALL the risks involved. If they had I would still have my best buddy sitting on my shoulder , sharing veggies and watching TV. I am devastated by what they caused. I buried him in my garden . I am sickened and I miss him so much.
