Word can’t express how I feel. I went as an emergency walk in with my 15 yo basset hound, Duke, it was his time to go but every other place was closed in Barstow. From the moment we walked in, Duke had all the sympathy from the workers. They made him comfortable and reassured me each step of the way , giving me plenty time with him through it all and making sure I didn’t have to stress about paperwork after I said my goodbyes. Dukes ashes were returned to me today in a beautiful wood box with a paw print, certificate of passing, poem and a card signed by everyone in the office . Thank you Oscar for being so kind in such a dark place.

I would just like to give a big shout out to Dr Michelle Turner, Brian and the rest of the team that took care of my dog last night. My dog Ahsoka was attacked by one of my other dogs yesterday. She was looking pretty rough when we brought her in. Couldn’t walk, bleeding from nose, lots of blood loss, very bad puncture wounds etc.. She was there all night, and we got thorough updates from the Dr and Brian throughout the night. I can’t imagine how busy it must be to be one of the only emergency clinics open at night in the High Desert. I was aloud to go in the back and see my dog a couple times last night, each time she was looking better. Now I’m no expert but I was raised in a medical family, from what I could tell triage here was spot on. When I came to pick her up this morning she was able to stand and wag her tail. They also relayed all the information from that night to a daytime vet to care for her during the day. She is looking so much better now and is walking and wagging her tail, As well as wanting lots of food!! Haha. The daytime vet even said we could take her home and we could have a follow up on Saturday! She isn’t out of the woods yet but she is a whole lot better thanks to everyone working last night! Thank you guys!! My family and I appreciate you guys so much!

I took my boy Leon in for a horrific incident at the park, which I will not get into detail about for the sake of his dignity. 😌 I was terrified, and panicking when I brought him in. The staff and the doctor were all so reassuring and made me feel confident leaving my baby with them for a few hours while they fixed him up. The procedure was pretty expensive, but it was a serious injury, and I was grateful to have been able to cover it. When I picked up my nugget, they informed me that I actually had a pretty large refund because they didn't end up requiring all that they had initially quoted me. I thought that showed integrity on their part. Leon recovered beautifully, and is happy as a clam these days! Anyway, I just want to share my gratitude and assure anyone taking their pet to this vet that they're in good hands! 🙏

My 3 year Male German Shepherd ate one of my running socks. I called the emergency line at 530AM and an employee immediately had me bring in Shadow. They administered a medication that made him vomit the sock up. It happened very fast. It was such a relief. The entire staff was great. Swallowing a sock can kill a dog. I will be using them again for my other elderly German Shepherd dog when the time comes.

This place was great! It was the hardest time for us as we had to put down our beloved kitty. She was only 6 and had heart failure. Everyone was so nice and professional. They made us feel better and allowed us so much time with her and we got to be apart of the whole thing and love her through it.

We brought our dog in with an eye injury. They took him in right away. He had to have his eye removed. He had to stay over night. Everyone was very professional, helpful and very nice. Made us feel that our dog was in great hands. They did an amazing job for him. No complications what so ever. He was right back to his crazy normal personality like nothing had happened. Thank you for the great service.
