Description Pets on Broadway is Portland’s largest, locally owned, independent pet shop conveniently located on the corner of NE Broadway and 28th. Our goal is to meet the individual needs of all our customers and create a feeling of community in the shop. We currently have well over 30 brands of dog & cat foods and thousands of different products, many of which are from local vendors. We also cater to the needs of more exotic or specialized pets by providing food and supplies specifically designed for them. This place carries Arcadia lighting for reptiles! Stopped by for the first time and they have a good supply of feeders and overall a healthy amount of things for my bearded dragons. Good to know and I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Store is really nice aswell.

I love this pet store. Great hours. Vast selection of supplies for all types of animals from snakes, lizards, hamsters, dogs, cats, fish the list goes on and on. The best part of this store is the staff. They love pets and love what they do. Helpful and so kind towards the kids and customers. This place is a must visit even if you don’t have a pet.

The staff here is always friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to order the tarantula I was looking for and he was in great condition when I got him. They have the most amazing selection of hamster supplies! Really, I think most small rodents would enjoy it. They really care here and it shows.

I got a free fish tank from a friend. So, I did as much research as I could on what I wanted to put in it, then was referred to these guys. I've had nothing but good interactions with the staff. Whom all seem to not just be knowledgeable be enthusiastic about the hobby. Plus, the plants there and at the sister store across the street are amazing. I had gone a few times to the wet spot beforehand. Which had more fish but also a lot more teenagers that couldn't really answer my questions.

They have been very helpful with getting my new craigslist beardie up and running. He is in rough shape but the advice help and guidance of the staff here has helped us get off on the right foot. I think it was Cory or Cody? (I'm terrible with names) who helped me figure out the right lights. All the staff where super helpful when one of the lights I bought was malfunctioning. They helped me get a replacement right away. Cory/cody also got me set up with getting notified when a terrarium I wanted gets restocked. They are very attentive and knowledgeable. Love this place. As an animal care worker at a shelter, I really appreciated their rabbit and rat set up too. They have come a long way and are setting a great example for husbandry! Love love love it.
