My family had a great experience adopting our newest Furbaby from this facility. Their interior and exterior were clean and welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and let us have plenty of time with the animals before deciding. We actually waited to adopt our Luna at their PetSmart function the next day. It made things easier on us to buy all of her essentials before coming home with her. We are one big happy family!

This place needs to be shut down, and an overhaul of their employees... An excellent place if you're looking for an animal prison... Animals in "Quarantine" status are basically placed on Death Row. Left to freeze and be ignored nor fed. The people they call "animal control officers", are unqualified liars. I was lied too from the beginning, and was told my dog would be placed under quarantine for observation. And in a matter of 1 min of taking my dog in he was deemed dangerous and needed to be put down... Well they killed him, and he's a pile of ash... Very discriminatory and rude unprofessional people... The entire staff! Shame on all of you. Officer Riley Ward and her Supervisor Officer Amanda Ward I hope they sleep well at night knowing they're animal killers... Rest In Doggy Heaven Jericho

I left my dog and a blanket($80) with them for 10 days for observation for rabies. So I recovered my dog from them on the 29th of Feb but not the blanket. I left for 30mins and came back to get it. They said they couldn't find it and didn't then remember what it looked like. I waited but didnt get it that day. They have been in contact by email, to inform me that they would have to replace the blanket and were taking the steps to get a new one for me. Overall a good place with a lot of movement, so mistakes like this can happen but they will try and work it out with you.

Be cautious adopting here… but dont not adopt.. because these animals need to be rescued from the rescue.. we made the decision to adopt the dog pictured to get her AWAY from this place.. really wish we could take them all. We’re very upset to see her in this condition even with being found and placed for adoption. She was NOT in good shape. We went in for a meet and greet for this dog and she was skin and bone.. she also had explosive diarrhea, and they thought she was 5 years old. Upon the meet and greet, we learned she was NOT 5 years old she was less than 6 months old. Obviously a puppy. I asked about any history of where she was found, what the diarrhea could be from/how long they’ve noticed it. They told me they don’t have her “cards” but upon adoption the front desk should be able to get them. We still decided to go through with the adoption and take the risks, while signing adoption paperwork I mentioned again how important it is to know some kind of history in the case that there’s an emergency of some sort and we need to take her to the vet.. the front desk told me that her cards were never scanned in from the Killeen animal services. This is address below to place we adopted her from but they work with Killeen Animal Services to get the “cards” scanned or not scanned in when the animals are brought over to be placed for adoption.. I adopted “chica” a long haired chihuahua at first she was really skiddish and shy and didn’t want to interact with me in the play area but I took her to pets mart let her pick out some toys her collar and I let her choose her snacks. She has been following me around all day and I’m so in love with her :) I changed her name to daisy she’s just so amazing

Super dedicated staff doing amazing things for a community that doesn't seem to value their pets. Ive been in rescue for nearly two decades and have been inside shelters all over Texas. This facility is clean. The animals are being well cared for. And best of all... they are networking with many, many rescues to get as many animals as possibe out alive. Everyone I met was friendly and smiled at me. I was happy to be part of the solution yesterday, leaving with three animals for rescues.
