An ethically bankrupt company, that preys on those in bereavement with extremely outlandish and exorbitant prices. Want a paw print of your beloved pet? $39 or more (don't forget the $15 shipping charge). Want a clay paw print? $59 or more. This isn't a service, it a hijacking. Move over used car salesmen, we have a new #1 for "never trust these guys"
I picked up my dog’s ashes today. The bag and certificate say her name. The paw print and engraved box have another dog’s name. I do not recommend this company and give them 0 stars. There is no guarantee that it is my dog’s paw print or her ashes. Horrible experience. Breaks my heart.
This place was great, they had our beloved cat T-Bird cremated in 5 days. We picked him up on a Saturday with no problems. They are priced low and gave us a Certificate of Cremation. Thank you guys for caring.
We had to let our beloved labrador, Charlie, go a week and a half ago & Lap of Love (who are also AWESOME!) used West Coast Pet Memorial Services. The gentleman who picked him up was wonderful & treated our boy so gently. He even gave me a hug before they left. So wonderful and caring. We were able to pick up the ashes today at our Veterinary Clinic and they did an absolutely outstanding job. The presentation was beautiful; the decorative box with the ashes was in a deep blue velvet bag. It is a beautiful reminder that our boy is still with us and a comfort to have him in the house again. Definitely recommend their services.
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would, how could you charge this much money for the loss of an animal and remembering them by?! You’re profitting off of loss and something so cruel in this world. No other loss of one of my animals has costed $59 dollars for a clay print ($10-$20 at most) you’re company is so ethically wrong it is insane. I know I am not alone in this either based on all of the terrible reviews this company has gotten.
Very sad to see the bad reviews for Dignified Pet Services, because our experience couldn’t have been more positive! Of course, no one is ready to deal with the loss of a pet. It’s an emotional time, and the grief and heartache can make handling the “business” side of things that much more difficult. Dignified Pet Services could not have made it easier to carry out our kitties final arrangements. Our treasured kitty, Iggy, was mauled to death by a deplorable neighbors pit bull, causing us to need to bring him in very last minute for cremation. Sleep deprived and devastated, we gave them a call after seeing their number on the Oregon Humane Society website. We were greeted with compassion, and told we could come by anytime before close to say our goodbyes, leave his body in their care, and arrange the services. When we arrived, Nico - apologies if I’m spelling your name wrong! - took us into a private room, and walked us through our options. He was kind, sympathetic, and had the kind of soothing, calming demeanor that made us feel at ease despite the trauma and pain of the event. (Seriously, he’s a rockstar - an absolute gem in every way, and we were so grateful for his time, couldn’t have asked for a better guide through this process!) We were able to spend a few hours sitting beside our kitty, getting ready to permanently part ways, and they allowed us to leave him with some of his favorite toys, which we were told he’d be cremated with. The prices were super reasonable, and we opted to have hair clippings and ink and clay impressions of his paws done as well. They offer two “complimentary” urn options - we opted for the bamboo box - and I am very impressed by the quality! When we went to pick up his ashes a few weeks later, everything was packaged neatly and professionally, and all the “extras” we opted for are very well done. I absolutely recommend using Dignified Pet Services to carry out the final arrangements for your pet when that unfortunate time comes! This experience has been painful and heavy, but they did everything they could to make sure that the process of cremating our loved one did not add to that at all.
