most worthless set of officials i think i've ever come across. brought in a litter of kittens that were abandoned by the mother to this place, so that they could be euthanized and not suffer. was literally turned away and not only told to put them back, but was also told in a way very rude and disrespectful manner, which in part made me get disrespectful. i told these people that the litter of kittens were gonna suffer and die and low and behold, not only did they starve but literally burned up due to the heat outside. people wanna talk about that these establishments try where they can, but i can honestly say that the people here don't deserve their position in any form whatsoever.

This shelter is unbelievable wonderful they have to where you can see the animals they have available they have a play yard to bring a dog out to allow them to stretch their legs and get some play time and the staff gets to know the dogs as best as they can to give them a better chance for the right family

Everyone was so helpful, from our initial call to finding a dog that was a good match for our needs. The entire place was clean and organized, and it didn't smell bad. There were volunteers taking dogs for walks and playing with them in the yard area. We've been to 8 or 9 shelters in the last few weeks, and this one was by far the best.

Women at the desk were super helpful and very nice. Drove in from San Antonio for a specific kitten and walked out with her and her sister. Goodie bags were given with each cat as well as first shots and microchips administered before we left. They also gave us a voucher for each kitten to be spayed at a vet in Seguin. The facility was very clean, quiet and well kept. I would definitely make the 40min drive again to adopt from here.

My dog was outside using the restroom in my front yard and the aggressive dog across the street repeatedly gets loose and comes into my yard to attack my dog. It's attacked my dog before in my backyard and drawn blood. Seguin animal services gets out to my place hours after i called and once again does nothing to reprimand the ppl across the street for their dog coming into my yard to attack my dog. Instead they tell me if they fine them they have to fine me too since my dog is off leash IN MY YARD using the bathroom. Is this really the law cause it seems way crooked that i get punished when my dog is keeping to herself, staying in my yard, using the restroom like she's supposed to.

Reason for 2 stars. I found a dog wondering around the clinica familiar. It was a puppy and I didn’t want it to get hit by a car so I brought it to the shelter. Well since I don’t live in the area I was told I had to bring the dog back where I found it and dump it. It took me back. Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Needless to say I felt so bad and I couldn’t do it. So I brought the dog home. I’m gonna train it and adopt it out myself.
