I am so disappointed in Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialist. I have never seen such a poorly run office. They need to be asked repeatedly to send records from their office to another office. They do not return calls such as getting an opinion on an ekg taken on your puppy. I have called over and over again to get a response. I was told Dr. Kramer is the best for dogs with a heart problem. It may be that he is knowledgable, but he does not respond to his patients care or concerns.

The rating should be 10 stars. This review is done with a professional and personal eye. I’m a retired Family practitioner and I was trained as a surgeon. I brought my dog there for a surgical emergency. When you walk in, the facility is beautiful and immaculate . The desk staff Jackie, was friendly, compassionate, and efficient ,took care of us right away. The vet tech,Lisa took the complete history and got Rocco right in. Finally, Dr. Clemente, the surgeon came and explained the nature of the problem and the various possibilities and prognoses. When we left, we felt informed and confident that this was the right place. Turned out, it was. The surgery and post op care was excellent. He stayed an extra day till he was stable and came home his old self. BRING YOUR PET HERE IF YOU WANT GREAT CARE !

1 star is too kind . If you are looking for compassionate care go elsewhere. We arrived 20 minutes before closing and were told to go elsewhere as they were closing soon. I said I understand and asked if the Dr could just look at our dog quickly to see if her infection required urgent care somewhere else . The receptionist went back and asked Dr Braly to come out . She wouldn't ! They were more concerned about going home than providing care . I suggest you go anywhere but Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists and avoid Dr Braly if you are looking for compassionate care .

Money hungry veterinarian! My family vet recommended to come here because he was concerned about a neurology problem with my dog. Even just to come and see the doctor that gave me no valuable information about my dog is expensive, $252! On top of that just to get blood from here is extremely expensive ! I declined because my family vet does a cheaper blood work while giving the same valuable information. Useless vets, for a mri the price jumps from over 3,000 to over 6,000 and they recommend the price over 6,000 because of course why not. More money for them. Hope I never have to come to this bet again! I don’t know why anyone would pay $252 just to see a Vet just to give you no information to help your pet.

This review is regarding Dr Gia Candelario. She treated my daughter’s dog for many years—actually kept him alive with all his ailments. She has been treating my dog for 11 years. He has multiple issues-IBS, liver disease, Lymphangiectasia, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and diabetes. Another specialist I used in her absence who took great care of him said he would not make it past last April (1 1/2 years ago) due to all his diseases. Because of Dr C’s care he is still going strong. She is an amazing physician - kind, caring, compassionate, intelligent and always thinks “outside the box”! I cannot give her enough accolades! She is simply incredible!

Dr.Braly at the Farmingdale location is such a POS and the least compassionate doctor to ever exist. We showed up 20 minutes before they closed and the Dr refused to come out to just look at our dog to let us know if the injury was serious telling us that they are closing when they were still open until 8pm. I wish I could give less stars. Dr.Braly you are horrible it would take 2 seconds to just look at our dog but instead getting out of work 20 minutes early was more important. You should not be a vet since you are a selfish as*****.
