Waited at the front desk forever ... just wanted to look at the dogs and got kicked out of the area the dogs were, yet you can see all the cats you want, because u have to have someone with you to walk around the dog kennels to look at them... so was forced to go back to the front desk only to keep waiting. I could see 2 diff ppl sitting in front of computers " appearing to be busy" so not helping us. Finally when the girl came to the desk she told us she couldnt take us in to see dogs right now because she was busy.

I lost my dog a few weeks back. I was able to go in and pet one. It helped my depression substantially. Could have stayed there for awhile. They were so nice and accommodate.

You guys are getting cedar bend confused with animal control. Animal control is ran by the city of waterloo not cedar bend animal control is contracted with cedar bend so every animal picked up by animal Control if owners aren't found HAS to go to cedar bend . animal control doesn't run out of cedar bend. Just wanted everyone to be aware. Thank you all for the animals you help out.

They spayed the kitten I got from the humane society and took her in right away when I thought she had a hernia. No appointment needed. They took a look and it was just a bit of swelling. Glad they listened and took my concerns seriously! There are a lot of vets out there who don't care whatsoever, so it's refreshing to see people who genuinely care about the animals they adopt out.

Not very positive. My son's small pet passed away and when asked what to do we didn't get any options. We were basically told to just throw it in the garbage! I understand they're busy, but to say throw it in the garbage as if his pet didn't matter was kind of insensitive.
