My dog Doom was brought into Happy Tails for vomiting and lethargy. He was quickly taken back and assessed by Dr. Calpeno. X-rays showed he had an intestinal blockage. From the moment I came in it was all hands on deck to get Doom in better shape. He was then taken into surgery (they have a full surgical suite on site) and the team spent four hours removing the obstruction. Everything happened very quickly but they made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. I knew he was in good hands. Once he was done with surgery Sam (practice manager) sat with me for several hours trying to find affordable 24hr care. The whole team was pitching in to help get him sent to an affordable but great care facility. I cannot thank them enough for the above and beyond efforts they made for my pup and I. I’ve never felt so cared for. Doom is a very lucky man to have had them, as am I. If you want the best care, I definitely recommend Happy Tails.

My fur babies are not just pets; they’re cherished members of my family, and their well-being is as important to me as that of any loved one. That’s why I only want the very best for them. After feeling my concerns were brushed aside by another vet, I turned to Happy Tails, and what a difference it made. The team here listened with genuine care and urgency. When my sweet girl was diagnosed with not one, but two types of cancer, I was devastated. Yet, Dr. Reidy and Dr. Calpeno stepped in with a holistic approach that was both compassionate and incredibly supportive. Having faced my own battle with cancer and lost a four-legged family member to it years ago, I was no stranger to heartache. But the understanding and love from the staff at Happy Tails provided a comforting beacon in a challenging time. Yes, Happy Tails might be pricier than some other veterinary practices, but in my view, you truly get what you pay for. If you're looking for top-notch care that prioritizes quality over cost, this is the place to go. Their exceptional care and unwavering support are worth every penny.

We have a 15 Mon old dog, we never had emergency with our puppy before, until recently. The team at happy tail veterinary was very helpful friendly and compassionate. They addressed our concerns and quick with their diagnosis, they gave us all the options to treat our dog with keeping in mind our budget too. They sent us home with all the meds needed to treat our puppy. I can’t recommend this place enough especially how they were very responsive to an emergency appointment for first time pet patient. Thanks you Happy tails veterinary hospital team .

I highly recommend avoiding this clinic at all costs, I had taken my cat to them over an infected paw injury that was causing her distress, I communicated very clearly to the doctor and technicians what was going on, but the doctor insisted I spend thousands of dollars to find out what was wrong with her. When I told the doctor I didn’t want to pay for the tests and just wanted my cats wound treated, given an antibiotic, and given fluids to help stabilize her. The vet had an absolute tantrum and tried to make me believe I either pay her an outrageous amount to “find out” what was wrong or have my cat euthanized. After much pulling teeth I got her to agree to barely clean the wound and give an antibiotic but she still refused to stabilize my cat without me paying thousands for unnecessary tests. After all of this had made a falsified claim to animal control exaggerating the situation and claiming she had sores all over her body, when it was really just dried blood from her injury, that I had asked them if they could clean up but they refused. This place is a malicious cash grab

Their love for your pet starts as soon as you arrive. They helped me to know I made the right choice to let him cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge peacefully. I can't thank them enough for the compassion by ALL of the staff. 💞🐈

My 6 year old Yorkie was very sick. I thought he was dying. I took him to Happy tails and they took us right in. Within a couple of minutes a nurse was checking him over and Dr. Miller came in and took over. She took him to another room to do test and about 20 minutes later he came back. He came back with a little more energy and was walking around the room. They gave us meds for him and less than 12 hours later he was eating and close to normal. I can't thank Happy Tails and Dr Miller & staff enough. I appreciate the care and concern shown to us and my Yorkie. I had prepared my wife and grandkids for the worst and when their King boy walked in the door they were extremely happy. Thank you so much Dr. Miller and staff.
