Pet Parent Beware!! I was out of the country during the month of April, 2024. I left my 4 year-old Shih Tzu with my family. In my absence, my dog's hair started matting. I suggested to my family to take the dog to the groomers while I was away. I have always groomed my fur baby by myself. She was taken to Petco in Grand Forks for grooming. Not only did Petco give her an awful and unprofessional haircut, but the "groomer" named Willie was also negligent and butchered part of my dog's left ear off. I met with Andrea, the manager of Petco. I was told by the manager that my dog was groomed by a *PROFESSIONAL* groomer who has worked there for 7 years and also trains in new staff. I was referred to Petco’s District General Manager, Angie in Minneapolis. She was of no help to resolve this matter. Petco only reimbursed the vet bill but refused any compensation for emotional and psychological suffering that my dog and I endured. My dog has suffered from physical trauma from this incident. I have pictures and I also have a video of the botched grooming and physical harm to my dog from the store video.

Very helpful staff, helped us with collars & calming drops. Will back for the stroller soon! Hopefully it will be on SALE soon maybe ;) 🙏

Raine was very kind and helpful. She recommended a great cat food and even walked me thought the Id tag station - all while handing multiple customers (and a grumpy dude) with a smile on her face. Thank you! I hope she gets a raise for all her hard work.

All the employees we encountered that day were amazing. They all took time so spoil our puppy and give her lots of love during our visit. You have a great staff who truly loves animals and that means a lot!

Kelly did his grooming. This was our first time there. She did a wonderful job. He looks so comfortable and happy. The first photo is before grooming. I'll definitely go back.

Kris at the grooming salon did such a wonderful job with our doodle, Fynnley. She was so helpful, kind, and thorough. We originally were getting him groomed at Petsmart and after several bad experiences we switched to Petco, and Kris went above and beyond! We’re extremely happy and highly recommend anyone with a doodle to get them in at Petco!
