When I reached out to see if my newly adopted, fearful dog could be seen for a home visit, the vet was very friendly over the phone and easy to talk to. But after I sent him my information, I never heard from him again, despite following up via text and calling multiple times throughout the course of a week. This was pretty disappointing as I cannot get my dog into a car yet to take her to the vet outside my home, so I was really hoping to be able to have her seen at home while I work on getting her to go in my car.

Our dog was attacked and bitten on her front leg by another dog this Sunday afternoon of President's Day weekend. We were at Lake County State Park, more than an hour-and-a-half from any emergency veterinary clinic. After calling around and talking to multiple facilities, our options seemed to be having to drive either to Sacramento or UC Davis and registering at a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic, after which the wait was estimated to be 3+ hours, and where you weren't allowed to accompany your dog during the exam due to COVID restrictions. (note: these things don't seem to be unreasonable; I appreciate that there even are 24-hour emergency clinics with trained staff who shouldn't have to be exposed to COVID). However, Daniel Mora was very accommodating of our situation, arranging to meet us in a parking lot in Woodland. I was able to drive straight there with our dog and we met with no waiting.. He did an exam and provided antibiotic and pain relief medication (along with reassurance), and detailed instructions for how to treat our dog over the next week, including what symptoms would warrant more invasive interventions and require another veterinary visit. He spent an hour on all of this, and his rates were very reasonable. We are home now and our dog is resting in her bed with ice on the bite. I can't say enough about how awesome Daniel was with helping us deal with this stressful situation. I am so grateful for this service!

The Mobile Vet came to us, obviously. We and our 21 year old kitty were treated with such thoughtfulness and vet competency...which we really needed and appreciated at this time..to say goodbye and let go of our dear littlest and elderly darling. 😥
