One and a half weeks ago, we went to this shelter to look for a dog. We saw one on the website that sounded great but volunteers there said that the dog was not a good match for us at all and recommended a different dog. They were so knowledgeable about the dogs kept there! We met the dog and we loved him right away! We are so thankful that he was recommended to us! He keeps us company in whatever room we’re in! Is a good little watchdog! He is a sweetheart! So thankful for our new companion!

My neighbor had a stroke, I called for an ambulance, she asked me to lock up her house, so I said to her "what about the dog and cat, what if you don't come back right away". She gave me the keys, so after a few days I decided it was in the best interest of the animals to bring them to my house so they would not be so isolated. The cat is probably 3 or 4 mo, the dog,her name is Sunshine is probably 2 or 3 yrs. Well it's been about 3 months and I'm not even sure if my neighbor is coming home or if she can take care of these animals if she does come home. I am elderly and disabled on a fixed income, I no longer want the responsibility of these animals that are not mine I called SPCA and they refuse to take these animals because I am not the owner. I didn't ask for any of this

I had to surrender my dog do to homelessness and no way to take care of my dog and they were very understanding and made me feel confident they would find him a good home. (Which thankfully he did find one) Thank you staff for being kind and compassionate during such a sensitive and heart breaking time of my life.

Super friendly and helpful staff take wonderful care of all the critters, and will walk you through the whole adoption process. We had an appointment, but they do walk-ins too (check for hours) and local adoption events. The kitties we looked at all had so many toys to play with! Really lovely shelter.

The best animal shelter in the area, they are a no kill shelter. I adopted 2 cats so far from here and their facility is excellent. They take care of vaccinations, spay/neutering all for a $50 adoption fee! I donated to them a few times that's why. Please consider them for your next adoption!

These people are careless and cruel, do you realize how CARELESS people have to be to "accidentally" give away someone's pet that btw, the rightful owner had paid money to get medical services, and if you had any common sense unlike these people, that's ALOT, to some random who shows up?! Now imagine if they can just give your pet away to someone carelessly without any documents, proof, etc, imagine how careless they be when they treat your pets? Do NOT go here if you actually care for your pet, because these people only see another buck in their pocket
