Today marks 6 long months of intensive chemotherapy my sweet baby had to go through in order to try to beat Lymphoma Cancer. I’m very picky with who touches my dog, who cares for my dog and where I put my money into. This group of individuals, from the moment I stepped foot into their establishment were so friendly, caring, understanding and supportive. Not only did they care for my dog during these 6 months, they supported me throughout as well. The Oncologist and her team are absolutely phenomenal! I cannot thank them enough for taking the time and effort to help my baby. I’m so grateful I get to spend more time with her and that is a gift I cannot thank them enough for. If you’re having second thoughts about this establishment for your pets care, this is your sign to put your full trust in them. You will not be disappointed. Providing the best care for our fur babies are always going to be costly, but I am MORE THAN HAPPY to give my every cent (literally) to this establishment and the work they do on a daily basis is.
If you are looking for quality specialty care for your pet, look no further. This hospital is exceptional. As a veterinary professional and long-time pet owner I have seen all sorts of hospital/clinic environments, and this is the best I've ever experienced. My dog has been hospitalized here for the last 5 days so I have worked with a lot of different people at the hospital and can honestly say in every single interaction I have been treated with the utmost respect and compassion. From the reception staff, to the technicians, to the the numerous doctors we have worked with, everyone has been amazing. All four doctors I have spoken with have taken the time to listen to ALL of my questions/concerns and have adjusted our treatment plan to meet my goals. While having a sick pet is awful, it has been such a blessing to have confidence that she is with the best possible team and receiving top-notch care. Thank you to Drs. Hung, Wegner, Cahn, Wilson and Cheng and the incredible veterinary support staff Samantha B, Lisa D, Yersenia O, Ashley P, Maya, Francisco, Peg, Celeste, Sonia and everyone else who has assisted us during this time. We are so grateful.
Can't thank enough for Dr. Jackson! Our baby had a very complicated leg surgery several years ago. Thanks to him she is bouncing around like a new puppy! We had gone to several vets before we ended up coming here because they weren't capable of it. So if your pup needs orthopedic related surgery don't waste time and money.
I called asking what the current wait time was for a dog with an eye injury. I really just needed someone to help flush his eye and see if there was any damage done. They told me it was going to take an hour so I brought my dog there immediately (15min drive). After sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours and watching other dogs that came after us getting taken care of, my dog was finally taken to the back. We waited with no updates for 2 more hours until it was past my dog's heart medication time. I asked for an update and told them about my dog's medication. They told me the doctor saw my dog but didn't have the time to come talk to us yet. So we waited another hour until we've had enough. We asked for an update and they said they don't know when it will be my dog's turn. We asked to get our dog back and asked what was done for him when the doctor saw him. Apparently the doctor didn't run any diagnostics on the dog when they "saw" him so my dog's been at this place for 5 hours without anyone helping him. I understand this is an emergency vet and there are more critical cases they may need to examine. But why lie about the wait time and leave my dog unnecessarily suffering? If they told me that it would take more than 5hrs for them to see my dog, I would have NEVER brought my dog there. At the 2hr mark, instead of taking my dog to the back and collecting the $500 deposit, if they said my dog won't be seen for another 3+ hrs, I would've taken him elsewhere. However, they lie about the wait time and don't provide you any real update so you are stuck there. I just brought my dog home and will be taking him to my primary vet when they open in the morning. I'm sure he'll actually get seen faster there than if I had been still waiting at this vet. I hope next time, they try to be less greedy and pass on patients that they don't have the capacity to handle.
This review is long overdue but it was hard to write for a long time. Dr. Garnett is the most wonderful vet I’ve had the pleasure of working with and her team is also so kind and compassionate. Scooby loved Nadine, Cory, and Dr. Garnett. My dog, Scooby, had advanced lymphoma and Dr. Garnett and her team gave me six extra months of precious time including a couple of road trip adventures with my best friend. I always felt that he was so cared for and she was the only vet he was ever excited to see. If your pup is fighting the big fight, they couldn’t be in better hands than with Dr. Garnett and her team. I’m so appreciative for them. Thank you!
Huge thank you to Dr. Mandy Yu! Immediately saw our dog, diagnosed the issue and provided quick potentially lifesaving treatment. Socialized our options clearly and communicated the plan to us, and later, our local vet. Great job, thank you again!
