My dog is elderly and has glaucoma and cataract. The care she receives at Eye Care for Animals is wonderful! They truly care for her and treat her with love and warmth. I am so thankful that they are there to care of her in the golden years of her life. Her quality of life is full and rich. Thank you for all you do!

Eye Care for animals in San Diego is truly the best. My dog had swollen eyes and sudden blindness, and it was truly the scariest experience I've had in pet ownership so far. While his regular vet diagnosed him with general irritation and sent us home with painkillers, Dr. Venturi diagnosed him with retinal detachment + started him on a steroid that eventually restored his vision. If you need a sign to see a specialist, this is it! Their team not only provided top notch and experienced care to my dog, but also compassion and kindness to me when I was an absolute mess of a person. I probably texted them 10+ times a week during his recovery, and their team always provided quick, detailed, and kind responses. I am the first to admit I can be a difficult client, as I travel for work frequently + have bad anxiety when it comes to my dog's health, but I was always surprised and thankful for the team's patience with me. Not to mention their patience with my dog --- he HATES his eye exams, but Dr. Venturi and her talented vet techs can always get him to comply with creative tips and tricks. While no vet care is inexpensive, Eye Care for Animals provides much more than value than they cost. They explain every charge to me, and even ask me if I want to move forward with additional recommended treatment with them/ask me if it would be cheaper at my regular vet. They also recommended pharmacies and coupons to keep my medication cost down. I've never had a vet support me in that way, and it was a massive help. I can't say enough about this clinic. You hope you don't need to come in, but when you do, you hope it's an experience like this one. THANK YOU!

I'll be the 100th to write a review for this amazing practice. I am so grateful to Doctor Tsai for taking care of my pup's eyes and giving him the attention he needs. I also LOVE the front desk staff, katie and danielle are so helpful and always pick up the phone or answer texts right away. Grateful to this practice and I definetly recommend it!

Dr Venturi and staff were incredibly professional and compassionate, exactly what you want in these situations. Our dog champ needed to have his eye removed after being diagnosed with melanoma; they handled the whole process swiftly and with so much care for him and us. Also very upfront about pricing and options.

Megan is a superstar. My vet Susan Tsai proved competent right off the bat her honest direct approach was really appreciated and made me feel at ease. They took me in immediately and I remember feeling lucky I had such a great team on such short notice. I was stressed as my dogs situation was time sensitive, expensive and I knew she could lose sight in her left eye and was in pain. I was completely at their mercy. Megan the vet tech was the best in the business. Beautiful person, truly she made a horrible situation so much better with her demeanor and professionalism. She is just good with people, I was stressed it was a surprise condition for my dog and she was really kind and understanding of that. I took my dog to my regular vet and was shocked when he said I basically have less than 48 hours to have a lensectomy or the pressure of her lens dislocation will cause permanent blindness. Megan is exactly who you want as a point of contact for clients because she makes us feel heard. The Vet was amazing as well and my dog is on day 3 of healing and seems to be doing much better which makes me so happy. I love my dog and I am glad to have met Megan and Susan thank you both so much. Hope this place pays their techs and vets their worth - they are truly amazing and the ones that make this place worth coming to. Thank you.
