The Staff was Very professional and helpful. We have 2 dogs already so they suggested that we bring them down to the kennel and bring them in one at a time to see how they would react with the 6 month old puppy we were looking to adopt. We did just that and everything went fine....6 weeks later he is Settled into his forever home. We have never bought a dog and never will .... rescue always.
I had an opportunity to visit this place with my daughter for the first time on the Wednesday, August 19th between 2:30pm. ~ 2:45pm. and was warmly greeted by Mr.Ted who was polite and kind in giving so much information on the adoption. It was a bitter sweet situation for my daughter because she loves animals and was looking forward to see if any could bond and be her future emotional support because there were no animals available for adoption hence happy the animals got a new home. Overall, had a good experience.
Two weeks ago today I adopted a little dog who definitely was not doing well at the shelter. She was shaking very badly she was so scared. She is the sweetest little girl. She had a couple accidents at first, not unexpected. I had gone to look at another dog (Koko) who is absolutely beautiful but just a little much for me to handle to as an older woman. I am very grateful to Lyndsey.. she was a big help. I am very happy with my cuddle baby.
A wide selection of dogs. Quite loud looking at them. Take the employees advice and wear ear plugs that they provide. Crew was very nice made sure I had everything I needed to take my dog home. Would go again.
Unfortunately you’re better off calling police to help handle situations or to stop caring about injured or sick animals. The lady working was extremely rude in person and on the phone. She gave our personal information out to the owner of the dog that showed up freezing on our porch going crazy. I’m more dumbfounded that they gave out my personal address to the owner. That could potentially be very dangerous if the owner was to come back in anger. I asked the lady working to not do that, but she didn’t care. She told me I was in the wrong for caring about the dog. She even put her hand up and said “don’t talk to me.” Very disappointed. Not to mention that we had already called 4 days earlier about the same dog being on our property in negative degree weather crying for help. The lady didn’t care about the dog and seemed more irritated that she had to come out and actually do her job. She clearly should not be working in a caring profession. Poor dog too, seemed like I was the only one actually concerned for his well-being.
