We adopted our cat from here, he came with worms, they claimed they microchipped him but he wasn’t ever enrolled with us or the SPCA, he was still enrolled with his old owner and then we were still charged as if he was microchipped and treated. They take your money without doing what they said.
Amber was absolutely awesome and made the experience of coming in to adopt two cats such an overwhelmingly positive one ❤️ She told us everything we needed to know about the cats, gave us time to hang out with them and get acquainted, and made the adoption process as seamless as could be. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience and I'm so excited to have my new cats at home with me - Thank you, Amber!
Great and simple process, they care. I showed up about 40 mins before closing and they didnt bat an eye. Really helpful they even let me meet the ones i was interested in. I recommend this place. Gave me a free high quality leash, and water bowl and a bag of food.
The people were beyond nice, helpful and professional in everyway possible. I lost my buddy Scuddle about 3 months ago to a stroke and really missed having a partner in crime. I was looking for a new copilot for my truck, a hunting, camping and kayaking buddy and they introduced me to Abby, a brown short hair pointer. They were on point with her. I couldn't be any more pleased with her. Thank you.
Mrs and I got our little Arya out here! The staff from both the SPCA and Petco were absolutely amazing! Meeting a dog for the first time can be a very nervous experience for both the dog and the perspective owner. Both organizations provided a wonderful atmosphere to meet in! Plus with the convenience of being in a PETCO the adoption was signed and we immediately got our little girl all the supplies she needed to get started in her new home :)
No one on a tight budget can afford to adopt an animal from this place or many other shelters... These people try to save as much money as they can if possible..I understand it cost to care for these animals, and they want to find homes for the animals that are there.. Yet in reality $200 for a dog, unless you have the extra money to do so... This is why so many animals remain at the shelters, and it's really sad... It's not saying they won't need to take the animal to the vet, but why set them up for failure from the beginning...
