I was placed here after a pretty traumatic event in 1997. They provided me with support that I needed until I could be placed into a long term facility. The people who ran it was a husband/wife team who treat us kids like we were part of their family. I couldn’t have had a better experience in a temp shelter ( and I have been placed in more then I could count!)

I entered homeward bound in 1989.i loved it,I met some awesome people from the employees to the other teenagers.i was 12 so this was forever ago.the one person I’ll never forget and his name was mike chance🤗

They helped and there the best people that Ik and I love them all I wish I added them on Facebook or something so I can talk to them I miss u danna and everyone else for the first time they made me happy and took care of me like I was there and helped me find my way and now I’m with the best family ever I love you Guys and miss you so much

I can't express my gratitude enough to these amazing people, who took in a lost 13 year girl and treated her as if she was their own. Thank you so much for helping me that night!
