I adopted my beautiful sweet kitten luna from here and that im grateful for, however..... she came home with Fleas, Ear Mites, and a yeast infection in her ears. I called just a few day after and and told them what was going on and even offered to come swab and treat the other kittens ears in the shelter as I am fully aware of how contagious ear mites are (very similar to lice on people), and as well have had Cats my entire life and have always been able to treat and heal my cats with over the counter and home remedies. Anyway the reason I'm upset is because although I was able to treat and rid my poor baby kitten of her fleas with two flea baths and flea drops, I was unable to rid her of what was ailing her poor baby ears so I called back after about 3-4 weeks of the ears still being black and itchy. They said that even though they had record of my previous call that they would be unable to help since I waited to long. So long story short, spent $125 to adopt, then about $80 on flea bath and drops, about $50 on different over the counter ear mites medicine. The final end of the story, I also had to spend over $100 on a vet visit and another $30 on medicine for a yeast infection in her ears. All is well now, and I love her to bits. Also love all the staff at Noah's Ark Animal Clinic. Over all the worst experience I've ever had in my 40 years of adopting cats!!!

When looking for a new kitty friend, if you see something on their information that worries you; always ask about it!!! Sometimes they write things just to be safe and it really isn't anything at all, and sometimes they are re-homed for situations that weren't their fault. They said my Finn was aggressive to other animals because he had hissed at other cats in the treatment room, which is a stressful place, but honestly he isn't aggressive at all they just wanted to be safe <3 My resident cat however is still mad at him, but that's because she is an old lady. I waited over the weekend impatiently then called again after a few days and they said to come in and he was mine, sweet and helpful woman at the desk. If there isn't an answer just try again later, it's worth it. Also a helpful tip, it's best to adopt a cat closer to your cats age, energy levels and age matter more than gender. Cats are more territorial as they age and my sassy senior calico would be having a much harder time with a kitten. Adult or senior cats are adopted much slower so if you find one you love, you will probably end up with them.

They are amazing. Helped us re-home 2 kittens that were dropped off on our rural road. Our dogs would not tolerate them. So they helped us when no one else would. thank you so much you guys are awesome.

Found a dog and brought him in. Asked people there to keep me informed about what was going on with dog. If he did not have a owner I would like to have him. Called countless times no answer left voice mail after voice mail still never a response. It's been weeks. They are horrible horrible at communication. Don't bother calling they don't answer. Your best bet is to simply drive up there to get a answer. If they treat people like this I would hate to see how they treat the animals.

The guy at the front desk was very discriminatory and wouldn’t accept the lost dog I found. I told him it wasn’t mine and that I didn’t have an address. I am a nomad. So because I don’t have an address I wasn’t allowed to help this dog find a local shelter because this man wanted to discriminate against me for whatever reason. This shelter isn’t there to help dogs. Or at least the main staff isn’t helpful. What disgusting behavior and treatment. He said he didn’t believe it wasn’t my dog because I didn’t have an address. Like what? That’s not their business. It’s not my dog.
