My dog has masticatory myositis which affects her jaw. She has been seeing Dr. Markins for acupuncture appointments and I’ve seen so much improvement in Roxy’s jaw function, as well as so many other things. She feels great! She used to be very nervous and on edge at the vets office but now she enjoys going in for her ‘feel good pokes’ and to get some good treats from the Dr. and the tecs. :)

I was on a road trip with my kitty and she got an ear infection. I had a hard time finding someone who would see her where we were staying, so I drove to Albuquerque and started making phone calls. Blue Cross was able to get us in quickly and got my sidekick taken care of! Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Great service at a reasonable cost! My dog had somehow broke her dew claw nail, exposing the soft tissue underneath—clearly very painful for her (it’s like if one of us humans ripped off a nail, and the nail bed were exposed). We had been seen only once at this clinic before, and the doc decided to squeeze us in same-day, within a couple hours of this accident! Unheard of with any other vet clinic I’ve experienced with other pets! They got her mended and didn’t do extra unnecessary services, like I’ve had happen at other vets. They even exchanged the cone given last time for an updated one for free! She will be back to her joyful, exuberant self in no time, in spite of having to wear the cone of shame for a few days.

Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, wonderful doctors. My fur baby can be a little unsure of new places but was comfortable here. I love that they take you back to a room right away and you get to stay with your animal in the initial exam room. Dr. Markins is very knowledgeable, reassuring, and gentle (even though my little gal got a little sassy). They don’t push unnecessary tests or procedures and try to keep the cost within your budget. We are so happy we found Blue Cross Animal Clinic!

This facility has my undying appreciation and respect. They have taken care of my boy with such love. I lost him just over a week ago and Dr. Sidney Jones is so fantastic. I knew my Smash was ready and I called the office. The receptionist placed me on hold and I wasn’t sure if Dr. Jones could be the one to help me get him through this part of the journey but she made time for him. I brought him in and this very hard moment was made a bit more bearable by the gentle service and interaction from the entire staff. You all are amazing and I thank you on behalf of myself and my boy. I know our roads will cross again but for now, please know if you your fur babies need care, they will be a good hands here.
