I have tried taking my dog to multiple other veterinary clinics over the years. However, this animal hospital is the only place I truly trust for her care. The doctor here is extremely professional, explaining my dog's condition and treatment options clearly and honestly. The staff as well are super helpful and friendly, putting pet owners at ease during stressful situations. This is not merely a place where your dog receives quality medical services, but also a place where you as an owner receive professional information and unbiased advice on how best to care for your four-legged family member. My beloved dog went to dog heaven recently, but during her lifetime she received outstanding compassionate care from the doctor and staff here. I am immensely grateful for the medical expertise, gentle handling, and genuine concern she received from this place. They went above and beyond to help manage her health conditions and make her comfortable. Thank you so much for helping her. I will be forever appreciative for the kindness and heart she received here.

Truly one of the most caring and understanding staff and the doctor is extremely knowledgeable caring and will do everything in their power to help and not cheat you or try to gouge you for money. They will always try to minimize your costs and give you the best care possible for your pets with the utmost respect and care. I have been going to southwest animal hospital for almost 10 years. The doctor is amazing truthful and explains everything to you. The staff is always phenomenal I love the girls at the front desk and the male technician is informative. I'm always explained everything that is about to be done and ask if I want something done or not and if I need to know the price first they have the receptionist come in with an estimate first which I love. I recently had a scare of my dog eating chocolate and I called them right away the lady at the desk calmed me down and explained what I needed to look out for and that since my dog was showing no signs of actually ingesting the chocolate that he would be fine and he was. I love having a vet office that everyone is knowledgeable and I thank Dr Cuevas for having a full staff I can trust and that I can trust him so easily with my baby boy. Thank you Dr cuevas :)

We had a very pleasant experience today at SW Animal Hospital. Our dog Ego injured his knee ligament and was limping, but we had mistaken it for arthritis or some other degenerative problem. With a quick physical examination the doctor diagnosed Ego with a soft issue injury, most likely a torn cruciate ligament due to the amount of "play" in the injured knee. He prescribed painkillers and anti inflammatory medication. Due to the age of the dog he advised against surgery which was a good honest advice and in the best interest of our dog. He was honest, patient, thorough and didn't try to do unnecessary procedures. We drove 40 minutes to this clinic due to the good reviews and we are happy we did that. I can highly recommend Dr. Cuevas and his staff, who are genuine pet lovers and very knowledgeable.

His dedication extended to all my pets, with two cats reaching an impressive 18 years old and dogs living healthy lives until 13. I currently have a 14 year old cat in amazing condition.
