A GENTLE VET SAVED MY DOG’S LIFE! My Golden doodle, Fergus, needed an emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. The reception staff/techs were so helpful, kind, and understanding and got me in right away. The surgeon was AMAZING and had a detailed and thorough procedural plan. She kept me in the loop prior to and after surgery and Fergus’ operation went incredibly well. A Gentle Vet helped me find an emergency care center for Fergus’ overnight stay and communicated Fergus’ needs with the staff. They made my job so easy and just generally took exceptional care of my dog and me. Everyone went above and beyond for us. Fergus is alive because of them! Thank you A Gentle Vet!!!!

Highly recommend Dr. Eric Olson. I noticed a lump on my dogs stomach and they immediately made time for us to come in. He had Maddie in surgery the next day. The staff was nothing but kind and loving towards her and patient with explaining every detail of her care with me. Thank you to the staff for making a very stressful situation, a little less so.

A Gentle Vet was recommended to me by my dog trainer and I can see why! I had the best experience at A Gentle Vet! Everyone that I talked to on the phone was friendly and pleasant. My dog can be reactive towards other dogs and they allowed her the space she needed so that our visit could be calm and stress free. Dr. Vetter was very kind and respectful. They're up front with fees, don't push anything on you, and the environment is so welcoming. I waited months for them to accept new clients again and am so grateful we are now part of their fur family!

I’ve never had to write a review like this, but I really feel I need to warn everyone not to take your pets here. We have now had 2 pets pass away due to the lack of help and poor doctors. If you have an emergency your pet will not get help here. We will NEVER bring our pets here, ever again! The person that answers the phone, Erin, who is Dr. Olson’s wife, has no experience with vet work and is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. She interrupts you and will not listen to what you need. She has lied to us numerous times that someone will help us but that never happened, and we had a pet die because of her lack of service. If you look at the responses to other reviews, she really thanks the good ones and then blames the customer on all the poor ones. She does not take ownership for them ever doing anything wrong. Why on the poor reviews does she keep mentioning video and phone recordings? Are the customers being watched and recorded from the moment they call or walk in?! We had a pet pass away right after a simple procedure and it should NOT have happened. This is due to the vet, Dr. Eric Olson. We had another pass away because Erin Olson would not get us the help we needed right away, or it could have been saved. We have made appointments and just sat there waiting to be taken care of while they take care of an emergency, yet they won’t help us when needed. Then when we finally see the vet, we are rushed through, and things are missed. I believe it’s Erin who is causing a majority of the problems with getting help and then over scheduling. Dr. Olson should not be practicing if he can’t do a simple procedure and the pet live afterwards. We have found a great vet to go to now, that can get us in right away if needed.

We came for our 6mo old pyredoodle's first well visit. The staff was patient with her learning the process and very kind. Dr. Olsen took his time answering our questions and listening to our experiences with our pup. Thanks for making her experience a good one!

I wish I could say I had the chance to get in with an appointment but I couldn’t get past the phone call. Asked how much a neuter would be and receptionist was “confused” on what I was asking. When I asked questions like “where should I pay” or “do you have any days available after the 2 week mark” she would not give me any dates nor the times that were available, just vague responses. She would always respond in a put out manner. Every question I asked was clearly consider stupid because everytime I would ask a serious question she would laugh about it saying and I quote “what do you mean where do you pay”. Extremely unprofessional, immediately knew it wasn’t going to be a good fit. If you look at the other reviews, the clinic replies with distaste full comments to people expressing their concerns. Are these the type of people who you would trust your family with?
