Went in to donate a newly opened bag of dog food that my picky little Yorkies would not eat. It looked good to me, but I guess they wanted the same old stuff they were accustomed to. The gal at the desk was very friendly and appreciative of the dog food donation. Glad I could help. My second choice was to throw it away, and that would have benefited no one.

There has been a group of dogs terrorizing our neighborhood for several years - multiple people have called animal control due to the packs aggressive nature - killing chickens, cats, getting into peoples backyards, making neighbors scared to take their leashed animals on walks, etc. Animal control has done nothing to control the animals and protect citizens in south jordan from their pack behavior

Sign on the window says shelter open until 6pm Mondays... I got off work early to come down and adopt a specific dog and arrived at 4:53. Passed the Animal control truck at the street corner heading out. Doors are locked, sign says closed and was unable to reach a human by phone. Left a voicemail.

Morgan at the front desk was so nice and helpful! She helped me with whatever I needed and explained everything thoroughly and did not make me feel rushed at all. I got my dog licensed in under 10 minutes. Super easy process thanks to Morgan!

I first went to Sandy animal shelter with a puppy that I found last night, and they were pretty rude about how they told me that I did not find him within their district. So, I took him to South Jordan animal shelter where they were very welcoming and even though it was not within their district either, they still took the puppy and made sure they took my information down. They were very polite, and I really appreciated their help! Highly suggested for anybody that wants to adopt a pet.
