Description Serving Hope is a Food Services Ministry that provides meals for the less fortunate in our community. Serving Hope provides meals to several homeless shelters in Idaho Falls, to other organizations that house individuals in need and to the community. Every evening, 365 days a year we serve a free warm meal to anyone who needs it. We also provide food boxes that are available to families or individuals, once a month. We love our community and are blessed to be Serving Hope!

I ran the City of Refuge thrift Store on weekends for about 3 years when it was located next door to City of Refuge. I once cooked dinner for everyone. It was a good time, and helping others really helped ME when I was really *struggling.* After Amy Kaiser retired and new management came on and relented to a VERY TOXIC coworker with the same name as me, I QUIT. Sad about the poor management, but it tracks with our society. Their attempts at thrift stores since, have also failed. But for those few years, I had regular customers and wonderful sales, and we had that great time. PS: I had visited here and done some paper or something when I was in nursing school. Humanitarian work is kind of my passion.
