My then( not now) boyfriend’s dog began having weird symptoms and you could tell he was sick and not feeling himself for a while and going downhill fast. They got us in quickly, we’re very respectful when deciding “being put to sleep” was the best option for the dog. We didn’t want him to be sad and hurting anymore. That was the first experience I had staying with a pet during this type of procedure as our arms and hands were in contact to comfort him. It was VERY HARD not to cry so I did… once given the injection, it was a few seconds until you could actually feel the dogs body relaxing and then his dog “soul” left his body and he was gone, very peacefully. I felt a little relief too because he wasn’t suffering, or in pain and not understanding what was happening to him anymore. He was free of all that. It was one of the hardest things I ever experienced and to this day I constantly think about him and miss him but know he is in a much better place. LOVE YOU STILL BUSTER!!!

We were committed to finding a vet who uses and understands the reasons for a thimerosal-free rabies vaccine. Dr Weiner stocks this vaccine and for that we are grateful. I was hopeful to have a vet in our own community but instead we will travel 150 miles round trip for this. Dr. Weiner should be the norm; instead he is the exception. Or IMO, Exceptional!

I was recommended to go to this place for my cats unknown lung condition and rapid breathing. The doctor said it was allergic bronchitis, probably from the food he was eating, we changed his food to something completely different and giving him depo shots every 4+ weeks. He improved a little but not enough for me to think it was right. I worked in the medical field for many years and this just never felt right, since steroids should get rid of most allergic reactions. I questioned the diagnosis at the office and I asked about bacterial or fungal infections, and was ignored. The last time I spoke to the doctor he told me his lungs were too inflamed and I should put him down. After months of trying to figure this out, a vet in the Bay Area finally gave me the right answers. He had a positive culture for actinomyces (lung infection) in the lungs and a cytology with neutrophils and macrophages. Which indicates an infection. He's been on antibiotics for almost a month and will continue to be for some time. The improvement is very noticeable. If I had listened my cat wouldn't be alive anymore and now he's got a new lease on life. He's finally on the road to recovery. The staff was nice and the place is clean, hence the 2 stars instead of 1, but I was really disappointed in the lack of diagnostics and lack of an open mind.

My favorite place to go for all my pet needs. My lab had a issue several years ago and the vet was able to give her a small back adjustment as if they knew exactly what needed to be done just by watching the dog walk! I did not know at that point in time that there was a dog chiropractor in our town but she was instantly fixed and didn't set me back thousands of dollars!

So disappointed in this dr and his staff, to say the least. My good friend's precious lab passed away unnecessarily. This office would not see their well established patient, knowing that this healthy boy had something seriously wrong suddenly. My friends made several attempts to have him seen, and they denied their request, saying they had no appointments available. They were pushed off to another office who cared for him better, having not even met this sweet boy before. I can't help but question if he would still be alive if this office had done their duty in checking out their patient of 6 years. I'm extremely sad and disgusted. This was the BEST dog ever. Please find a new vet everyone. My prayers are with this sweet family of 5 who are devastated 💔

We used to praise this place and referred Dr. Weiner to many friends and family. However, we quickly learned on multiple occasions, if your dog needs to be seen for anything other than a scheduled vaccine or check up, they won't fit you in (happened on 2 occasions over the past 6 years). Sadly, after being turned down twice to see him and his not so friendly staff, our beautiful and amazing Labrador passed away with VC Asher. That staff, who didn't even know him, showed more compassion towards finding out what his pain was caused by, unlike his own vet who he was with for over 6 years. What's the point in having a vet if they won't try and see their patient? There are a lot more vetererians in town who I know would go above and beyond for their patients. I do not recommend Dr. Weiner.
