Update: STAY AWAY! The reply below has nothing to do with my cat. This Clinic doesn't even know who I am. They are scary incompetent. Please check other reviews! "...we quickly realized he had a substantial wound and provided the appropriate surgery and post-care necessary to make him as comfortable as possible until their quarantine period was over..." My cat did not have any visible, substantial injuries (he was severely dehydrated and anemic due to a flea infestation), there was no surgery, there was no post-care, and I have no idea what possible" quarantine period" could possibly be referred to here! Unfortunately their reply has further Illustrated how completely and utterly out of touch this incompetent veterinary clinic is with their patients and their owners. Old: Terrible, incompassionate service. My cat was captured after 6 months of being AWOL. He was injured and Animal Control took him to the nearest vet. Wycliff Animal Clinic didn't seem very compassionate about our situation, there were language barriers to good communication, and they took an oddly long time to even get me check-in forms. The place gave me the creeps. Finally, I went home for my own carrier and returned to take my cat to my own vet.

The vet did a great job with an intense surgery for our family dog, at a really fair price as well. I take my cat here also. He just has a way with animals that puts them at ease. Great local family vet!

My son and daughter (15 and 17) brought our cat in recently, and they said the doctor was rude and condescending. He asked my daughter what kind of cat food we use, and when she said she didn't know, he started talking down to her. She said the whole experience was belittling. There are many choices for vets. I switched today.

Dr. Randy is the best veterinarian I have ever spoken with. My cat Salem had been lethargic and not eating where Banfield wanted to go and perform x-rays and surgery, Dr. Randy took time to evaluate that he had had vaccines from Banfield several days before and was having a bad reaction. He saved us thousands of dollars and the guilt of having our kitten operated on for no gain. He explained very thoroughly his thoughts and conclusions and is a very genuine guy. He was recommended to me by the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.

They ve been taking care of my pets for the past 5 years They are a great clinic! The nurse was so caring and knowledgeable and the Dr. took its time explain any concerns I had. As always it was a great experience.

Dr. McCallum and his staff are wonderful. They took great care of my cat, Thunder, and their prices are very fair. My kids are immunocompromised, so we are still taking COVID precautions and I really appreciated that Dr. McCallum and his employees were willing to go over my cat's results and paperwork outside. Dr. McCallum was patient and answered all my questions.
