Highly recommend this clinic! I have a frenchie who was suffering from a prize-winning ulcer on his eye, to the point it was on the verge of rupture. Days prior, my regular vet did the best she could but advised me to seek out a specialist ASAP. Other clinics told me a two week wait minimum for an appointment, but Eye Care for Animals (OP), thank Heaven, was able to get me in same-day. Not only was his eye saved, he made a complete recovery; to the point that one could never tell which eye was affected. I was very impressed with the friendly and attentive staff and Dr. Hunkeler displayed excellent professionalism. She gave me all of the available options, patiently answered any questions, and now my boy is completely healed.

Unfortunately my dog was diagnosed with glaucoma 1 year ago, and we started coming to Eye Care for Animals in Overland Park. We have been here several times now and I absolutely love them! The staff members genuinely care about my Bentley. The amount of compassion they all have is amazing! Dr. Amy Hunkeler is amazing as well! She is very knowledgeable and always thoroughly answers our questions. She even gets down on the ground to make my dog feel comfortable and it is very obvious that she cares deeply for the pets she takes care of. I will always recommend Eye Care for Animals to anyone needing eye care for their pet! Thanks for all that you guys do!! ❤️

Exceptional care for our sweet pup! Dr. Hunkeler was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help us with our dog's eye issue that we weren't sure could be resolved. Everyone there is great & I highly recommend!

We took Bubbles here for dystichia surgery. The doctors and staff were all wonderful and caring. Bubbles' surgery went great and she can now open her right eye all the way and no more pawing at it. They were just such nice people.

Great staff all around, but would avoid getting your medications through them. They have done a great job of taking care of my dog. Would give 5 stars if the medication prices were not so far out of line. I went from $163 a month to $56 a month by going online.
