If I could give 0 stars, I would. I recently came up there to drop off a cat that walked up to my front door. Looked like maybe she had autism not in the best shape at all. I had no clue what to do with her so I brought her up to the animal control. The lady working was RUDE she didn’t care about her job or this animal. She told me that if I decided to leave the cat there and the owner came looking for it and they euthanized her, she was allowed to give the owner my name and address? For what reason idk. This place needs better workers. They need better rules implemented. They need people who care. I wouldn’t trust anyone who works here with an animal based on the one encounter I had with this rude lady. She needs to be fired. Owasso, DO BETTER!

I have lived in owasso my whole life, and I am SO ASHAMED of owasso animal control and how they have handled a situation recently with a pregnant pit. They were going to euthanize her before she and her puppies even got a chance a life, and this is NOT the first time this shelter has done this!! Thankfully, a shelter has stepped in, but this is never a guarantee. It is time to start making some noise about how animal intakes are being handled here at this facility. They considered the fact that this dog was posted online as her “stray hold” days. That is UNACCEPTABLE. Stop euthanizing our animals and start trying to actually find them homes!!

They are not animal control they are pet control. If it would have to be caught ,they to lazy. Tell us to call game warden well cause they where to lazy to come get a raccoon that was still alive it got killed by some kids. Worthless would be a compliment to these place...

Zero stars is what's appropriate for a shelter that tells concerned citizens that posting a dog on Facebook is the same as a legal stray hold, so they'll just euthanize the animal once they have it. Just unbelievable.

A family member brought our puppy here during a mental health crisis, I sent another family member here to pick him up the next day to bring him home and was told he was already euthanized because he was "aggressive". I don't know how you can deem a 5 1/2 month old scared puppy as aggressive and murder him in less than 24 hours of being there. I don't think the staff is properly trained in animal behavior. This place probably needs investigated.
