The dedication of this organization and its volunteers in assisting animals that have been surrendered or need to be rescued is amazing. They helped me find a pet and doing that process I was so impressed that I decided to become a volunteer myself.

Awesome local volunteer-run animal shelter. I've adopted a cat and a dog from this shelter, and I love them both so much!

This organization is a joke! The unprofessional attitude is unbelievable. We were trying to provide a loving home for one of their rescues and yet, they were more worried about keeping him to make money off of his breed than doing what is best for the animal. The few weeks of unfortunate contact with these people has shown me that they are more interested in their tax right off and being able to pat themselves on the back for doing “volunteer work” than actually attempting to find adequate families for the pets that are unfortunately in their care. I do NOT recommend this organization and hopefully they will be shut down soon due to their shady practices and unethical business dealings.

Very accommodating staff, working hard to do all they can to find good homes for their dogs & cats. They want to make sure you and the animal you choose bond, by allowing you to foster care for a month prior to adoption. And when I say accommodating, if you have a 9-5 work schedule. You can talk to them and establish a time when you both can meet at the facility to view what is available. They have went above and beyond for me, and I would highly recommend them to you. Again thanks.

We adopted our beautiful Oliver from this wonderful organization. We were aware of a semi feral deaf puppy that has been surrounded. Luckily he came to Homeward Bound Waggin. Had he gone to another shelter he may have never had a chance at a real family. They helped us every step of the way. Kept us very informed throughout the whole process of adoption. Fees were minimal given he had all his shots and was neutered. He was also provided with 1 month of flea/tick prevention ,first collar and leash, a nice bag of puppy food. He was also microchipped. I definitely recommend Homeward Bound Waggin to anyone looking to adopt those animals others often look over.
