I have a dog who has bad anxiety sometimes and can be hyper active. I took Tyra in to this location for a nail trim. I spoke to the groomers before I ever brought Tyra in because I am well aware of how easily it can be for her to become over stimulated and anxious. I went over her behavior with the groomer and they said if they have any trouble they'd recommend calming chews before the next visit. I offered to grab said chews and wait until it kicked in before we started. They said they'd already put her in and didn't wanna change it because it takes a half hour or.so for the chews to kick in. Upon bringing tryna in, I should have just cancelled the appointment but hoped that once we parted ways she would be okay. They opted to keep her harness on her in case of issues and took Tyra back. Approximately 10 minutes later I received a call that they weren't able to.clip her nails bc she wasnt cooperating. No big deal, I knew that was a possibility. Upon picking Tyra up, I noticed her eyes were red and puffy, I inquired and they said that she was pulling very hard and they recommended taking her to a vet for any grooming bc she was trying to lunge at other dogs. Tyra has never been or showed signs of aggression towards other dogs so that was very confusing and hard for me to understand. I just leashes my dog and walked her back out. Just be aware if you have a dog who can become over stimulated or has anxiety. I won't be bringing Tyra back here again.

The store associate refused to sell me more than one leopard gecko. I understand there is a lot of misinformation out there. However, they are social in the wild and as long as two males are not being housed together, or even females who were incubated on the higher end. The best way to make a happy pairing is to buy hatchling together, they should have been incubated at the same temp. Regardless she was ignorant of the situation and got very angry at me. She said “did you look on petsmart website or someone who actually cares about animals!” Then she proceeded to google right there and was seeing that they could be housed together. She got mad and flustered and refused to sell to me.

I've been a regular customer at this Petsmart location, primarily purchasing food for my cat. I am consistently impressed by the wide variety of both dry and wet food options they offer. Additionally, their frequent promotional events are a huge plus, allowing me to stock up on my cat's favorites while saving money. Highly recommend to any pet owners looking for quality and variety in pet food.

Negative experience on this note that “as a pet professional” she would not scoop a couple fish for me 20 minutes before closing. I needed to be there at least 30 minutes before closing. Because she has too many other things to do like empty the trash. Why have a store be open at all when you can’t help your customers buy things to keep your business afloat?

Called 3 days ago, provided details to schedule an appointment for 930 am this morning. Drive 45 minutes to get here just to be asked if I brought my pups rabies shots which had expired on the day that I called. Not that it’s anyone else’s job to keep up with my dogs shot required, however when making the appointment it would be a nice reminder THEN and not on the day that you show up.
